Good day, fellow art enthusiasts! I hope everyone is doing well this blissful Sunday. I'd like to share my new coffee art, entitled "Where the Day Ends."

This painting title evokes a sense of both beauty and finality, capturing the moment when the light disappears and the day gives way to night. It aims to depict the beauty of the sunset and the peace that often comes with the end of the day.

I used three types of painting brushes for this piece and it took me forty-eight minutes to finish it. For those who are interested in trying this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.

Materials Needed:
๐Ÿ‘‰ Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
๐Ÿ‘‰ Pencil and Eraser
๐Ÿ‘‰ Coffee Powder
๐Ÿ‘‰ 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
๐Ÿ‘‰ Ruler
๐Ÿ‘‰ Clean Water
๐Ÿ‘‰ Rag
๐Ÿ‘‰ Paper napkin or paper towel

Brushes:
๐Ÿ‘‰ Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
๐Ÿ‘‰ Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
๐Ÿ‘‰ Filbert brush

Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.

Basic Procedure:
โ€ข Outline or sketch your painting reference.
โ€ข Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
โ€ข On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
โ€ข The same procedure with the foreground.
โ€ข Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
โ€ข Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for the thin details.

Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
