Art Journal: "Original Reflections at Dusk" ā˜•šŸ–Œļø

Hello, Hiver friends and fellow art enthusiasts. How are you there? I hope you're making the most of your day. I want to share my original coffee artwork I completed today.

This painting describes a tranquil, coffee-toned landscape with a mirror lake, distant mountains, and silhouetted trees. This monochromatic color palette enhances the work's unfading quality and gives it a sense of peace.

I used three painting brushes for this piece, and it took me an hour to finish it. For those interested in trying this unique medium, follow the step-by-step basic methods below.

Basic Procedure:
• Outline or sketch your painting reference.
• Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
• On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
• The same procedure as the foreground.
• Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
• Then add details to bring your painting to life. I used a liner brush for the thin details.

Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
