Art Journal: "Original Landscape with Coffee Painting" ☕🖌️

Hello, Hiver friends and fellow art enthusiasts! I hope you are all having a fantastic day.

This striking artwork boldly employs coffee as its medium, creating a truly unique and serene landscape. The warm, earthy tones of the coffee paint command attention and beautifully capture the tranquility of the scene. A solitary tree stands majestically near a calm body of water, reflecting the golden hues of the hills in the background. A few birds in flight inject movement into the otherwise peaceful composition. The ability to achieve such subtle gradations of color and texture with coffee is nothing short of impressive. The overall effect demands quiet contemplation and showcases the beauty of nature. This painting invites viewers to pause, breathe, and truly appreciate the simple elegance of the natural world.
I used three types of painting brushes for this piece, and it took me an hour to finish it. For those who are interested in trying this unique medium, you can follow the step-by-step basic methods below.

Materials Needed:

Brushes:

Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.

Basic Procedure:
• Outline or sketch your painting reference.
• Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
• On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
• The same procedure with the foreground.
• Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
• Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for the thin details.

Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
