Art Journal: Minimalist Scene, Original Coffee Painting☕🖌️

Greetings, fellow art enthusiasts! I hope you're all enjoying a wonderful weekend. This is the new coffee painting I created today, using coffee powder as my medium. I encourage you to take a look and share your thoughts!

This exquisite monochrome landscape, features distant mountains, misty waters, and slender trees. The hazy atmosphere creates a sense of solitude and calmness.

I used three painting brushes to complete this piece, which took me an hour. For those interested in trying this unique medium, follow the step-by-step basic methods below.

Materials Needed:
👉 Watercolor Paper, sketching Paper, or stretched canvas
👉 Pencil and Eraser

Brushes:
👉 Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm

👉 Filbert brush

Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.

Basic Procedure:
• Outline or sketch your painting reference.
• Paint using a lighter background shade by creating a beautiful texture.
• On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
• The same procedure as the foreground.
• Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
• Then add details to bring your painting to life. I used a liner brush for the thin details.

Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
