Art Journal: "A Serene Night" | Original Coffee Painting β˜•πŸ–ŒοΈ

Hello, Hiver friends and art enthusiasts! How are you there? I hope you are having a fantastic day.

This coffee painting commands a sense of tranquility. The warm, earthy tones of the coffee establish a calming atmosphere. Through strategic shading and color variations, I depict a mountain range that stands boldly against a night sky. A full moon shines brightly, enriching the peaceful ambiance. The dark silhouettes of trees frame a calm body of water in the foreground, amplifying the painting's serene mood. The overall effect powerfully conveys quiet contemplation and natural beauty. The subtle texture of the coffee grounds adds a distinctive element to the piece. Its simplicity and evocative nature make this painting undeniably captivating.

I used three types of painting brushes for this piece, and it took me an hour to finish it. For those who are interested in trying this unique medium, you can follow the step-by-step basic methods below.

Basic Procedure:
β€’ Outline or sketch your painting reference.
β€’ Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
β€’ On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
β€’ The same procedure with the foreground.
β€’ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
β€’ Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for the thin details.

Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
