If you laugh at a racist joke, does that make you racist?

Why or why not?
Would love to hear your views

Of course not, just like laughing at a joke about pregnancy doesn't make you pregnant.

I like your view! It just so happens I have (on multiple occasions) been called racist because I find that kind of jokes funny.
I like the darker humour, but that doesn't mean I dislike the people in the jokes.

Too few people see comedy as Ricky Gervais and Jimmy Carr - two of my favourite comedians 😆

I think it is funny by its absurdness or because it make fun of the cliche that arent actually true withtout having raciste opinions

Exactly!
Though, sometimes it seems like the clichés are true (at least for some). Like Jamaicans and chicken jokes. I only know a few Jamaicans, but they all love chicken 😂

Sometimes a laugh is just a reflex, not a belief. If you keep enjoying those jokes or share them, that says more, so maybe ask why your brain hits chuckle before your morals wake up.

So, you say that laughing at racist jokes continuously makes the person who think it's funny a racist?
