Our Titanic day
Friday the 3rd of October, 2025.
A lovely day. So many things happened and the majority was absolutely amazing!!
Let me walk you through the day and end it with some images alongside the walkthrough 😎
Early morning
I woke up pretty early Friday. I guess it was because of excitement.
Got myself ready for work, was at the office 8:00 - but the office was closed 😂
I tried calling the owner, but he didn't pick up, and I had just received a notification about going to the hospital at 10:00. This particular hospital is a bit over an hour away, so I left the office before anyone else had arrived and decided to text the owner that I had left again because of the hospital appointment.
He got back to me saying, no worries and wished me a good weekend.
As a sidenote: he told me Sunday that they're having breakfast at the office and asked if I could be in at 8:30... sounded like a good plan to me, so of course I went there at that time! 😁
Arriving at the hospital
I arrived there about 20 minutes prior to my appointment, and 10 minutes before I was called in another room for a blood sample. No big deal.
My appointment was a course to get me self-adjusting my medicine. This is because it's a fairly advanced medicine, so a 3 module course is needed. This was the 2nd.
I honestly spent two hours there learning nothing new.
The nurses who run the course knew I wouldn't learn anything, but in order to be self-adjusting, it is mandatory to be at all 3 modules.
Guess that's fair, since not everyone has the information needed for overseeing their own medicine right from the get-go.
Going back
On my way back I started planning the night.
It had already been determined that I'd be going on a date-like night with an old crush of mine. We've been seeing each other a bit lately, but haven't seen each other for just about 2 months, give or take.
Luckily we had both been wanting to see "Titanic: An Immersive Voyage", so that's what we decided to do.

She was at work, but we managed to catch the very last show of the day. Lucky us!
Afternoon
When the time came to meet up during the late afternoon hours, we met at the train station and took the train to Copenhagen.
It felt like a long ride there because we had to stand up, but we made it and then had to find our way to the actual event.
It took us another 30 minutes to get to the location and we made just just in time.
We received our Boarding pass and went inside.
My Boarding pass showed I was Charles Robert Bainbridge.. I did not survive.
You can read about him here, on the titanica encyclopedia
My date, despite being female, had received a boarding pass with a male name on it. I don't remember the name, unfortunately.
Both our boarding passes showed 2nd class, and we found both of our names among the victims.
The immersive voyage
We were met by a copy of the front of the Titanic. This in itself wasn't very impressive to me, but still a fairly cool touch.
There was a lot of reading material, stuff from the ship itself and from people who were with it. I didn't take any pictures of these things, and neither did she. We then came to an entrance that was created like the entrance to the ship - this was pretty cool!
And right when we got onboard the ship, we were met by a door!
Curious as we are, she immediately said "Can we go in?!", and tried to open the doors.
Unfortunately the door handles didn't work. What disappointment!
Going through the halls of what seemed to be the first class section of the ship, we came to another fairly big room. This was a display room, showcasing the dining area and the iconic stairs.
In thie stair picture I have cut out my date due to privacy reasons.

As we went along on our tour, we came to something the looked like a movie theater. Just with stuff displayed all around us.
It was the story of the last couple of hours before Titanic sank.
The sound was horrible, but the setup was quite nice.
My lovely date managed to get a picture, and I think it kinda looks like we were there.
We agreed that it was a decent experience, but not quite what we had in mind.
And then...
VR
This is more like it. A tour around the ship, both on the bottom of the ocean and also digitally restored to its former glory.
This was so fun. Only thing not so fun about it was the fact we had to wear goggles, meaning we couldn't see each other at the same time. But it was so fun, and we even got some motion sickness because of a couple of sequences in the restored version.
The rating
The VR saved it, and if I had to give it a star rating, it would be...
Well, the company made it a 5 star experience, but if I had done it alone, probably 3.5 or 3.75. The VR really saved it, rating without that would have been 3. Tops.
Rest of the night
After this experience, we went to a place called "Reffen".
It's kind of a street food place, but we weren't sure if it was open, since it's very much a seasonal thing.
Lucky for us, it was still open!
We had such a great time, laughing, talking, eating and having a couple of drinks. Not too much, we had just 3 each.
It was such a lovely place, and again, the company I had there was totally indescribable!
At one point we had to go to the toilet. Not together, you filthy people! 😂
But it was so fun afterwards.
The handwash area was outside, and while I was washing my hands, I looked to the right and saw something I'll never forget.
A woman taking a few steps - and oh my(!!), she was gorgeous!
I looked down at my hands, because I was washing hands after all. Dried my hands, turned around and saw she was still there.
I had to walk past her to get to my own waiting spot, waiting for my date.
As I got closer, I saw that gorgeous woman I had been starring at was my date!
It was so fun, she had done something with her hair so I didn't recognize her right away.
I placed myself in front of her and waited until she noticed that she didn't have to wait for me 😂
Took a good half a minute before she looked up and saw it was me 🤣
Obviously I had to tell her about the episode with me thinking "Wow! who is that?!" .. and turned out to be her.
When the clock was way more than we thought it was, we headed home.
Once again we had an incredible experience together.. This time it might even have been even better than our trip to a Friday rock concert
