My daughter won a tablet - then things got sketchy
I think we have all been there. Walking around somewhere and suddenly we get approached by some people who want to sell something. Usually I don't stop, unless they offer something incredible.
But... this time was different.
The story
I was walking in a shopping mall with my daughter and she saw a spinning wheel where you could win stuff that was located on the same table as the wheel was.
2 attempts for each person trying, giving us 4 attempts. We actually won!!
Now the sales guy removed 3 items from the table, saying those were items that had to be bought at a massive discount, but included a subscription plan too.
Obviously, it was the cool stuff, and my daughter was very eager to get the Samsung Tab A9+.
Sales guy and I worked out some deal, so I ended up getting 2 tablets.
A few days after this, I went over the entire situation, and I'm pretty sure, that according to Danish law, what he did was not allowed. It's fake commercial.
The aftermath
I'm honestly thinking about going back there, spin the wheel again and hopefully win, so I can select the items on the table that require subscription, but this time around, throw in their faces, that if I do not get the stuff for free, I'll take it to court, since it's basically illegal.
I honestly think I could get away with it and it would be pretty cool to get either a tablet, smart watch or some ear buds for free 😎
Should I do it?
