[EN] Ships are slow - and the one I want to show you today was no speed demon either. It glided slowly, assisted by pilots, into the harbour.

But maybe on the high seas?

Maybe it's a speed demon there? Why does he need such a streamlined shape? Maybe it is simply a designer's fantasy? Or perhaps also at sea, lowering the Cx ratio saves fuel?

[EN] And interestingly, it turns out that there are only two such ships in the world - the 'City of Rotterdam' and the 'City of Petersburg'. Unfortunately, I don't know which one it is - I can't tell from the photo, which I took at close range.

The ships were commissioned by Nissan and are used to carry cars - this is known as a 'car carrier'.
