A wonderful day to all my dear friends, lovers of beautiful things at HIVE.
The year 2026 was a year of great learning for me, as fate would have it that one day I found myself surrounded by balloons, curtains, and flowers.
I think I can say that there is a before and after in my life after my niece invited me to help her decorate for a party. And you might ask, what's so special about decorating?
Un maravilloso día para todos mis queridos amigos, amantes de las cosas lindas en HIVE.
El año 2026 fue de mucho aprendizaje para mi ya que por cosas del destino me vi envuelta un día entre globos, cortinas y flores.
Creo que puedo decir que hay un antes y un después en mi vida luego de una invitación por parte de mi sobrina para ayudarla en una decoración de fiesta. Y ustedes me dirán ¿Qué tiene de especial decorar?
Well, “decorating” is definitely an art, it's creativity, it's magic, it's making a person's dreams come true, it's like painting on a blank canvas everything that someone once began to imagine in their head.
And how wonderful it feels to make people happy!
Pues definitivamente “decorar” es un arte, es creatividad, es magia, es concretar los sueños de una persona, es como pintar en un lienzo en blanco todo lo que alguien un día comenzó a idear en su cabeza.
¡Y qué bonito se siente! ¡hacer felices a las personas!
That's what Yenni does every day with her clients. They arrive, explain everything they dream of, and Yenni (the boss) makes it happen.
Of course, everything has a cost, but nowadays parents strive to give their daughters the quinceañera party they so desire!
Or the groom who wants to give his bride the wedding she always dreamed of.
Eso es lo que hace Yenni cada día con sus clientes, un día llegan, le explican todo lo que sueñan y Yenni (La jefa) lo hace realidad.
Por supuesto que todo tiene un costo, pero hoy en día los padres se esfuerzan para darle a sus hijas ¡la fiesta de 15 años que tanto desean!
O el novio que quiere regalarle a su novia la fiesta de bodas que siempre soñó.
Fairy tales, beautiful stories that will remain in their memories and can never be erased from their minds. These are created by people who work in animation, decoration, or wedding planning.
Cuentos de hadas, lindas historias que luego quedarán para el recuerdo y que nunca se podrán borrar de sus mentes. Eso lo construyen estas personas que se dedican al tema de la animación, decoración u organización de bodas.

Today I want to tell you about this guy (the groom) who was in charge of every detail from the very beginning. I had never seen a groom like him before, either in my family or at the weddings I've had the pleasure of decorating. This guy was involved in everything. He had a tremendous desire for everything to go well, for his bride to feel the joy of having the perfect wedding.
Hoy les vengo a contar de este chico (El novio) quien estuvo desde el minuto cero encargado de cada detalle; la verdad nunca había visto un novio así, ni en mi familia ni en las bodas a las que de tenido la dicha de ir a decorar. En cambio, este muchacho estuvo involucrado en todo, sentía un deseo inmenso de que todo saliera bien, que su novia sintiera la dicha de tener la boda perfecta.

It was an American-style wedding, there were lots of curtains to hang, lots of flowers, so we started very early, carrying things from one place to another, ironing fabrics, working before sunrise, and many other things.
I don't think anyone knows what goes on behind the scenes at every event, and it's for all these things that the client pays.
Era una boda al estilo americano, había muchas cortinas que colocar, muchas flores, por eso iniciamos desde bien temprano, desde cargar cosas de un lado a otro, planchar telas, trabajar antes que saliera el sol y muchas cosas más.
Creo que nadie sabe lo que hay detrás de cada evento y es por cada cosa de estas que el cliente paga.
It took us almost 12 hours to complete five sets: the entrance, the party room, the altar, the youth area, and the photo set. The hours passed and we made progress, each of us doing our part.
Tardamos casi 12 horas para poder realizar 5 sets, es decir, la entrada, el salón de fiesta, el altar, zona juvenil y set de fotos. Las horas iban pasando y nosotros avanzando, cada quien en lo que le corresponde.

I can only say that I am proud to belong to this wonderful team, a family business that is eager to grow in this marvelous country, but we will talk about that in another post. The truth is that we end up exhausted, but with immense satisfaction at a job well done.
La verdad es que terminamos con la lengua afuera, pero con una inmensa satisfacción del deber cumplido.
