Weekend Photography: Same as at the beginning [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Visual Shots community! Today I'm joining you all to share a new collection of photos. This time, I took advantage of Saturday to accompany my partner on some errands, so I took my camera with me to take some pictures around downtown Alta Vista. I don't always get to take pictures, so when I have the chance, I take it. Today, the light was also pretty good, with a bright sun. Although it was already a bit dark when we left the house, it still helped me capture some images. Here we go.

¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Visual Shots! El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes una nueva recopilación fotográfica. En esta oportunidad aproveche el día sábado para acompañar a mi pareja a realizar algunas diligencias, por lo que me llevé consigo la cámara para tomar algunas fotografías por el centro de Alta Vista. No siempre puedo tomar fotos, así que cuando se tiene el chance de, lo tomo. Hoy además hubo bastante buena luz, un sol intenso. Aunque ya había caído un poco el atardecer cuando nosotros salimos de casa, pero de todas formas me sirvió para capturar algunas imágenes. Vamos con ello.
Honestly, sometimes I feel a little strange with the camera. As I said before, I'm a novice at it and I do it as a hobby. It might also be because I'm a bit demanding and don't think I'm up to the job; I get confused by the equipment settings. I survive with the basics. And looking back, I realize that from when I took those first photographs until today, I still enjoy photographing flowers and landscapes. That follows a consistent theme. In my favor, I'll say that taking photographs of nature isn't invalid, less beautiful, or less useful than any other chosen subject. It's a matter of taste, different appreciations.
La verdad, a veces me siento un poco extraña con la cámara. Cómo he dicho antes, soy una novata en ello y lo hago por afición. También debe ser porque soy un poco exigente y no creo estar tan a la altura del trabajo; me "enreda" la configuración del equipo. Sobrevivo con lo basico. Y viendo hacia atrás, me doy cuenta que desde que tomé esas primeras fotografías hasta el día de hoy, me sigue gustando fotografiar flores o paisajes. Eso sigue un tema constante. A mí favor diré que tomar fotografías de la naturaleza tampoco es algo inválido, menos bello o menos útil que cualquiera otro tema elegido. Es cuestión de gustos, apreciaciones diferentes.
Something I really like, and haven't tried in a while, is editing photographs. I love playing with colors, textures, and shapes. That's one of the reasons why photography is so versatile; any image can be modified according to a person's intentions. I miss that a bit. Although right now I can't do it because my phone is a bit outdated and won't let me load good editing apps. You do what you can with what you have. Algo que me gusta mucho y que tengo tiempo sin intentar, es editar las fotografías. Me gusta mucho jugar con los colores, las texturas y las formas. Esa es una de las razones por las cuales la fotografía resulta tan versátil; cualquier imágen se puede modificar según con cualquiera sea la intención que tenga la persona. Extraño un poco eso. Aunque ahorita mismo no puedo hacerlo pues mi teléfono está un poco obsoleto y no me deja cargar buenas aplicaciones para editar. Se hace lo que se puede con lo que se tiene. I really like the photos and they do not look like you are a novice at all :) I also like taking photos of nature and in my taste nature can be muuuuuuch more beautiful than architecture, streets or ordinary people :)
Picking a good time of the day (even if its just a coincidence ^^) is a skill many other photographers do not have. I strongly believe that you will be able to edit on a future phone some day :) I think it is even better to keep it simple and work with what you have to learn skills other people don't have because they use editing too often. Finding/Generating good contrast in camera can make photos become way more alive and feel 1000% more authentic than contrast added in the editing. I think you did a great job with that already!
