Semana Violeta y Amarilla 💛💜: Habituarse a lo nuevo [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the community! Today I'm joining you here to bring you another side of the drawing class. This week, as I mentioned in my previous post, my students are learning about color theory: the use of primary and secondary colors. First, they worked with primary colors and then with secondary colors, moving from monochromatic to dichromatic colors. This is a big step and, above all, a great challenge for them because our eyes and, in general, the use of color never suggest that a shadow can be green, violet, or orange (the complementary colors). These steps are often very daring and may even seem excessive, but great artists have certainly shown that it is necessary to break out of the norm.
So it is an important stimulus to face familiar things and paint them with colors that you would not have chosen on your own. Here, the students in the second group were working on this, and as you can see, the results are always very different from one another. As I said before, this has more to do with the character of the student than with the materials being used. Everyone uses the same technique, color palette, and, in most cases, supports. Each person tends to follow their own way of doing things... Although I insist that sometimes it is important to follow the rules in order to break them and confidently produce something of good quality and authenticity.
¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad! El dĂa de hoy me uno por aquĂ para traer otro lado de la clase de dibujo. Para esta semana, cĂłmo bien dije en la anterior publicaciĂłn, mis estudiantes están viendo teorĂa del color: uso del primario y el secundario. Primero habĂan trabajado con colores primario y luego con colores secundarios, por lo que pasaron de los monocromáticos a los dicromáticos. Esto es un gran paso y sobre todo, un gran desafĂo para ellos pues nuestros ojos y en general, el uso del color no sugiere en momento alguno que una sombra puede ser de un color verde, violeta o naranja (los complementarios). Esos pasos suelen ser muy atrevidos y hasta pueden llegar a pensarse cĂłmo demasiado, pero ciertamente los grandes artistas han demostrado que sĂ, es necesario salir de lo habitual.
AsĂ que es un estĂmulo importante enfrentarse fente a cosas que se conocen y pintarlas con colores que por cuenta propia no se habrĂan elegido. AquĂ los chicos del segundo grupo estuvieron trabajando en ello y cĂłmo podrán ver, los resultados son siempre muy diferentes uno de otros. CĂłmo dije anteriormente, eso tiene más que ver con el carácter del estudiante que con los materiales que se estĂ©n usando. Todos van con la misma tĂ©cnica, paleta de colores y casi siempre, soportes. Cada quiĂ©n suele seguir su propia forma de hacerlo... Aunque insisto en que a veces es importante seguir las reglas para poder quebrarlas y hacer con toda seguridad, algo de buena calidad y autĂ©ntico.

AquĂ ellos habĂan salido un rato al parque que está en el patio delantero de la escuela, pero ciertamente no era muy bien dĂa para jugar pues hacia bastante calor y creo que los chicos tampoco tuvieron tiempo para poder terminar su trabajo. Que por cierto, ellos antes de salir ya habĂan terminado, asĂ que si, simplemente fue un premio por haber estado en ello. Por otro lado, tengo nuevos estudiantes y creo que cada vez más me hago a la idea de que el tiempo pasa volando y estos chicos aprenden igual, asĂ que sĂ© que les aguarda un gran futuro dĂłnde espero guarden y pongan en practica todo lo enseñado aquĂ. Aunque ya no sean mis pequeños y queridos estudiantes; que sean mujeres y hombres de bien. Sin más que decir, muchĂsimas gracias por pasar por aquĂ.
