Puppy's new toy (Mía)... And the cats [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Hive Pets community! Today I'm joining you to share a new canine adventure. This time it's about my beloved dog, Puppy, and my Kiko, the pampered kitten of the house... at least that's what his cat mom, Kira, says. They had an encounter with a toy today. It turns out I live on the 11th floor, and for some reason, my husband was leaning out the window drinking coffee when he suddenly dropped the cup, which landed on the ground floor. Luckily, instead of finding the cup, he found the yellow ball you see there. So now they have a new toy in the house.
¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Hive Pets! El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes una nueva aventura perruna. En esta ocasión se trata de mi querida perrita Puppy y mi Kiko, el gatito consentido de la casa... Al menos eso dice su mamá gatuna, Kira. Quienes el día de hoy tuvieron un encuentro con un juguete pues resulta que yo vivo en un piso 11 y por alguna razón mi esposo estaba asomado en la ventana y tomando café, cosa que de repente, dejó caer la taza y fue a parar a planta baja pero con tan buena suerte de que en vez de encontrar la taza, encontró la pelota amarilla que ven allí. Así que ahora tienen un nuevo juguete en la casa.
I trust the owner won't miss it. The truth is, my husband found it quite far from our building, in a wooded area, and even then, he didn't find the cup until the afternoon. The thing is, Kiko and Puppy had already tried the toy. Puppy usually likes balls; she's had several already, and it's an activity she really enjoys. I throw it, she catches it, runs, jumps, and then, when she's tired, she lies down on her bed. And by bed, she means the sofa in the house. Although they have several beds, I think I'll never understand why both cats and dogs ignore the beds you can buy and instead lie down on the first thing they see that's a little less suitable for it... Like cardboard boxes, a blessed and sacred place for a cat who loves to curl up in a cardboard square.
Confío en que el dueño no la extrañe, lo cierto es que mi esposo la encontró bastante lejos de donde está nuestro edificio, en una zona donde hay bastante monte y con todo y eso no encontró la taza sino hasta la tarde. La cosa es que Kiko y Puppy ya habían probado el juguete. Puppy suele gustar de las pelotas, pues ya ha tenido varias y es una actividad que ella disfruta bastante porque se la lanzo y ella la ataja, corre, salta y ya luego luego cuando está cansada, se acuesta en su camita. Y por camita busca es el sofá de la casa, aunque ellas tienen varias camitas, creo que nunca entenderé porque tanto gatos cómo perros hacen caso omiso a las camas que uno puede comprar y en su lugar, se acuesta sobre lo primero que vean y que sea un poco menos provisto para eso... Cómo las cajas de cartón, lugar bendito y sagrado para un gato que ama hacerse bola en un cuadrado de cartón.
So when Puppy finished playing, Kiko went to get her, and that's how Pepito, Dio, and Blackie joined in. The four males of the house, all neutered and dedicated full-time to household chores: sleeping, eating, playing, licking each other, swatting at each other, dropping things from great heights, etc. That said, I wish that moment from the game had been captured, but I think sometimes it's just better to enjoy the experience, and in the end, we were only going to have blurry images. Así que cuando Puppy terminó de jugar, Kiko se encargó de ir por ella y así se unio: Pepito, Dio y Blackie. Los cuatro varones de la casa, todos castrados y dedicados a tiempo completo a los oficios del hogar: dormir, comer, jugar, lamerse entre ellos, darse manotazos, dejar caer cosas a gran altura, etc. Dicho esto, ojalá fuese captado ese momento del juego pero creo que a veces simplemente es mejor disfrutar de lo que se vive y a fin de cuentas solo íbamos a tener imágenes borrosas.
