Photographic Compilation: Valencia Iconic [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Visual Shots community! Today I'm joining you to share a new photo collection. For this occasion, I'm bringing you some images I took in Valencia, which were taken during some of the walks I took through the city center, where I tried to capture as many photographs as possible of my surroundings. Especially taking into account some of the most iconic buildings in the heart of the city center. I admit it was a bit of an arduous task, considering the limited time I had and that sometimes I didn't realize that the places I wanted to visit were closed (like the churches) or no longer existed (or had been renovated). Fortunately, Valencia is quite large and diverse, and I took a considerable number of photographs. Here are some of them.
¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Visual Shots! El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes una nueva recopilación fotográfica. Para esta ocasión, les traigo algunas imágenes que tomé en Valencia, las cuales fueron tomadas durante algunas de esas caminatas que estuve dando por el centro de la ciudad, dónde intenté capturar la mayor cantidad de fotografías que fueran posibles en todo mi alrededor. Sobre todo, tomando en cuenta algunos de los edificios más icónicos de todo el corazón del centro. Reconozco que fue una labor un poco ardua, tomando en consideración el poco tiempo del que disponía y que algunas veces no contaba con que los lugares que quería visitar estaban cerrados (cómo las iglesias) o ya no existían (o habían remodelados). Por suerte, Valencia es bien grande y diversa y obtuve una cantidad considerable de fotografías. Acá les presento algunas de ellas.
The photographs show: The Government Palace, the house from which the Official Gazette is published, the Ipostel (Postal and Telegraph Institute of Venezuela) and a (new and perhaps not as memorable) mural illustrating what La Quinta la Isabela (or also known as "The House of the Iturrizas) is. One thing I enjoyed about Valencia is that the weather was good for photography (although it was extremely hot). I like that most of the patterns on the facades of the buildings are repeated (almost always seeking symmetry) and generate a certain rhythm in the streets. The Government Palace stands out in particular, with a more modern architectural style than the neighboring buildings from the colonial era; its columns of Joric order, pediment and neoclassical style frieze. A beauty that can be found all along the front of Plaza Sucre. Without further ado, thank you very much for stopping by. See you next time.
En las fotografías aparecen: El Palacio del Gobierno, casa desde dónde se publica la Gaceta Oficial, el Ipostel (Instituto Postal Telegráfico de Venezuela) y un (nuevo y quizá no tan memorable) mural ilustrando lo que es La Quinta la Isabela (o también conocido cómo, "La Casa de los Iturriza). Una cosa que disfrute de Valencia es que hacia buen clima para fotografías (aunque hacia muchísimo calor). Me gusta que, la mayoría de los patrones en las fachadas de los edificios se repite (casi siempre buscando la simetría) y genera cierto ritmo en las calles. Destaca en especial el Palacio del Gobierno, con un estilo arquitectónico más moderno que los edificios vecinos de la época colonial; sus columnas de orden jorico, frontón y friso de estilo neoclásico. Una belleza que se encuentra en todo el frente de la Plaza Sucre. Sin más que decir, muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí. Nos vemos en la próxima oportunidad.
