Pepito entered the hunting season [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Hive Pets community! Today I'm joining you here to share a new feline adventure with you. About a week ago, I told you about my cat Pepito, who is the smallest cat in the house, and this year will be the first time he celebrates Christmas and New Year's with us, his human family, and his cat/dog family. However, over the next few days, we began to notice that Pepito was a little restless and seemed to be seeking the company of the female cats... So officially, Pepito entered the jealousy stage, which means it's time to neuter him. And that will also be the first and last time he undergoes surgery for that reason.
¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Hive Pets! El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes una nueva aventura gatuna. Hace una semana (aproximadamente) les hable sobre mi gato Pepito, quién es el gato más pequeño de la casa y este año será la primera vez que célebre junto con nosotros su familia humana y su familia gatuna/perruna, la Navidad y el Año Nuevo. Sin embargo, a partir de lo días siguientes comenzamos a notar que Pepito estaba un poco inquieto y cómo buscando un poco la compañía de las gatas... Así que oficialmente, Pepito entró a la etapa de los celos, lo que significa que llegó el momento de castrarlo. Y eso también será la primera y última vez que entra a una cirugía por esa razón.
When we adopted Pepito, we realized that he was about two months old. We figured this based on his teeth, diet, and size, so he probably wasn't a newborn, but he wasn't a big boy either. Pepito arrived in August, so he must be about six months old now. For me, he's still too young to have the operation, but I think they can be operated on from four months old. I operated on my other cats at around that age, so I was just keeping an eye on them and waiting for the doctor to tell me what to do. Among other things, I've had to keep Pepito with me in my room so he doesn't hurt the cats or himself. So it's been a few days of little sleep.
Next week, Pepito will probably have had his operation, and I'll be able to tell you a little more about it. In the meantime, Pepito is doing well, healthy and happy. Although I know for sure that he won't be able to have any more kittens, I prefer that to having lots more kittens or, even worse, homeless kittens. Cuando adoptamos a Pepito, nos dimos cuenta de que el tenía capaz unos dos meses de edad. Eso lo tomamos en cuenta por los dientes, la alimentación y tamaño, así que probablemente no era un recién nacido, pero tampoco un chico grande. Pepito llegó en Agosto, por lo que ya debe tener sus 6 meses de edad. Para mí es bastante joven aún para que comience la operación, pero creo que a partir de los cuatro meses ellos pueden ser operados. Con mis otros gatos los opere más o menos a esa edad, así que simplemente estaba pendiente de ellos o que el doctor me dijera que debía hacer. Entre otras cosas, he tenido que mantener a Pepito conmigo en el cuarto, para que no lastime a las gatas o a él mismo. Por lo que han sido unos días de poco dormir.
Esta semana que viene probablemente Pepito ya haya sido operado y podré comentarles un poco más al respecto. Mientas tanto, Pepito se mantiene bien, saludable y feliz. Aunque ciertamente sé que ya no podra dejar descendencia, prefiero eso a tener muchos más gatitos o peor aún, gatitos sin hogar.
