My first Drawing Tablet! ✨ UGEE M708 GRAPHIC DRAWING TABLET [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Geek Zone community! Today I'm joining you to share a new tech review. Or rather, my opinion on this new acquisition. This time it's about my new drawing tablet, the UGEE M708 Graphic Drawing Tablet. I'm an artist, and for many years I've wanted a drawing tablet to do digital work. So, while looking for options, I came across this one. To be honest, what caught my attention was its price and usability. I didn't read too many reviews and just went for it. It was a gift from my dear sister, who, seeing how much I needed it for my work, gave me the tablet.
I must say that I have very little knowledge about technology and many other things like that. That's why I clarified above that this is more of an opinion than a professional review. Let's start with the tablet. It's lightweight, quite large (I think it's over 30 cm wide and about 24 cm long), has a single peripheral port, some buttons to access the PC's options (depending on the application or program) to which it will be connected, and of course, the touchscreen where the stylus glides. As for the rest, it comes with a USB cable, a USB cable adapter, a pair of gloves (I imagine to protect the screen from direct contact with your hands), a black glove, the stylus, a stylus holder, a brush for cleaning the screen, a screen cleaning cloth, and the instruction manual.
¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Geek Zone! El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes una nueva reseña tecnológica. O más que una reseña, una opinión sobre esta nueva adquisición. En esta ocasión se trata de mi nueva tableta de dibujo, UGEE M708 GRAPHIC DRAWING TABLET. Soy artista y desde hace muchos años había deseado tener una tableta de dibujo para poder hacer trabajos de forma digital. Así que mientras buscaba algunas opciones para poder acceder alguna, encontré está opción. Con total sinceridad diría que lo que llamó mi atención fue: costo y utilidad. No leí demasiadas reseñas al respeto y simplemente accedí a ella. Que por cierto, fue un regalo hecho por parte de mi querida hermana, quién viendo la necesidad que tenía en hacer mis trabajos, me obsequió la tableta.
Debo decir que en cuanto a tecnología y muchas cosas por el estilo, tengo muy pocos conocimientos. Por eso aclare arriba que realmente, más que una reseña profesional sobre el asunto es más bien una opinión. Comencemos por la tableta. Es liviana, bastante grande (yo creo que más de 30 cm de ancho y unos 24 cm de largo), cuenta con un solo puerto periférico, algunos botones para tener acceso a las opciones de la PC (según la aplicación o programa) a la que estará conectada y por supuesto, la pantalla táctil sobre dónde se desliza el lápiz. Con respecto a lo demás, tiene su cable USB, un adaptador para el cable USB, un par de guantes (imagino para proteger la pantalla del contacto directo con las manos), un guante negro, el lápiz, un soporte para el lápiz, una brocha para limpiar el polvo de la pantalla, un pañuelo para limpiar la pantalla y el instructivo.
Connecting and assembling everything is quite easy. So, once everything was connected, I started connecting it to the PC. Nothing happened. So I asked my partner for help, as he's a bit more tech-savvy. He connected it to his phone and opened the Pixel Studio app (which is the app I use for drawing), and these were the results: it glides and mirrors what's drawn on the tablet onto the screen. Now, regarding its effectiveness, it was a little confusing because it didn't work easily, and the cursor was a bit difficult to follow. However, I think it's just a matter of configuring everything properly because the manual strongly recommended installing an application that would help with that. It's related to the UGEE brand. So, I then tried it on my PC, and it ran better. I think this type of tablet (from what I've read) works best with programs like Illustrator. So, I'll have to let you know how it looks, as I need to learn a bit more first. Overall, I liked it, and I'm excited to start. That's all for now; thank you so much for stopping by.
Conectar y armar todo es bastante fácil. Así que una vez todo conectado, comencé a conectarlo a la PC. No sucedió nada. Así que pedí asistencia a mi pareja quién es un poco más versátil en estas cosas. Lo conecto a su teléfono y abrió la aplicación de Pixel Studio (que es la aplicación que yo utilizo para dibujar) y los resultados fueron estos: se desliza y cumple con la función de reflejar lo dibujado en la tableta sobre la pantalla. Ahora en cuestión de eficacia, fue un poco confuso porque no acertó con facilidad y cuesta un poco que el cursor siga la orden. Sin embargo, yo creo que es cuestión de poder configurar bien todo porque leyendo el manual, se insistía en instalar una aplicación que ayudaría con ello. Tiene que ver con la marca UGEE. Así que luego probé en la PC y corrió mejor. Creo que este tipo de tabletas (según estuve leyendo), trabaja mejor en programas como Ilustrator. Así que les debo él como se ve, pues debo aprender un poco antes de ello. En general me gustó y estoy emocionada por comenzar. Sin más que decir, muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí.
