Magical Friday: School Party, dancing, music, and more🎄[ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the community! Today I'm joining you to share another day in my life. This time, I'm bringing you some photos from the CIMOS school party. They hold this event every year, and the best part is that not only can all members of the school community (students, teachers, staff, etc.) attend, but also neighbors or anyone who wants to join in the festivities. At the party, you can enjoy the dancing and music the school organizes for everyone, as well as the food and drink stalls, toys, and various games for the children.
¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad! El dÃa de hoy me uno por aquà para compartir con ustedes un nuevo dÃa en mi vida. En esta oportunidad les traigo algunas fotografÃa de lo que fue el parrandon del CIMOS. Todos los años realizan esta actividad y lo mejor de ella, es que no solo pueden asistir todos los miembros que hacen vida en el colegio (estudiantes, profesores, obreros etc.), sino también vecinos o cualquier persona que desee unirse al evento que se prepara para esa noche. En el parrandon, se puede disfrutar de los momentos de baile y música que prepara el colegio para todos, asà cómo también de los puestos de comidas y bebidas, venta de jueguetes y juegos varios para los niños.
Honestly, the place was quite crowded, and it was a little difficult to find a spot. I arrived a little after 6:00 pm because the children had told me that although the event officially starts at 5:00 pm, it usually begins around 6:00 or 7:00 pm. The first dance was by the ballet dancers. One of my students was there, so I couldn't be late and miss that. The following dances were performed in ascending order, from first grade to fifth grade. So practically every child in the school participated in one way or another. I managed to see several of the kids there, which was really sweet because they put so much effort into dancing and putting on a good show for everyone. There was also the parranda, which is part of the extracurricular music class, so I couldn't miss that moment.
La verdad, el lugar estaba bastante lleno y fue un poco difÃcil encontrar puesto. Yo habÃa llegado un poco más de las 6:00 pm pues los niños me habÃan dicho que aunque oficialmente el evento comienza a las 5:00 pm, generalmente suele empezar a eso de las 6:00 o 7:00. El primer baile fue de las bailarinas de ballet. Una de mis estudiantes estaba allà asà que no podÃa llegar tarde y perderme eso. Los siguientes bailes fueron de forma ascendente, desde el primer grado hasta el quinto año. Asà que prácticamente casi todos los niños del colegio participaron de una forma u otra. Allà logré ver a varios de los chicos, asà que fue muy dulce porque se esforzaron por bailar y dar un buen show para todos. También estuvo la parranda, que forma parte de la clase extracurricular de música, asà que no podÃa perderme ese momento.
I also ran into some of my students, who were dressed up for the occasion and happy to be there because I honestly think they organized the event flawlessly. It was truly magical, and proof of that was seeing the children playing and dancing around, the parents moving about or taking all the photos and videos to remember the moment, the lighting of the school Christmas tree, the fireworks, and everything else. It was truly beautiful. Even though I was sick, I tried to muster up the strength to go, and I think it was well worth it because I will cherish this memory forever. Asà me encontré también con algunos de mis estudiantes, quienes estaban vestidos según la ocasión y felices de poder estar allà pues sinceramente creo que organizaron el evento de una forma impecable. Fue muy mágico y prueba de ello era ver cómo los niños jugaban y bailaban alrededor, los papás se movÃan de un lado a otro o tomando todas las fotografÃas y videos para recordar este momento, el encendido del árbol de navidad de la escuela, los cohetes que lanzaron y demás. Fue realmente muy bonito. A pesar de que estaba enferma, intenté tomar fuerzas para ir y creo que valió mucho la pena pues guardaré esto por siempre.
