Jueves de TBT: Viaje a Isla Larga [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Top Family community! Today I'm joining you here to participate once again in the TBT Thursday contest. I'll be leaving the link at the end of the post for anyone who wants to participate. That said, I'll share the anecdote behind the photo I'm showing here on the cover. It's about the last time I went to the beach with my family. It was back in 2021, when I had just turned 24 and my sister Claudia was in the country (temporarily). To take advantage of the occasion, we all decided to go to the beach to celebrate her birthday in a different way. Join me in this memory.
We were never a family that went to the beach a lot (nor did we have many traditions), but we quite enjoyed those trips the times we did. After a few years, we didn't do anything like that together again (especially since we all lived in different, distant places), so right on my birthday, I was looking forward to spending the day at the beach. By then, my sister had a stroller, so the idea of going to the beach was not only feasible but quite ideal, so we did. Early in the morning, we headed to Puerto Cabello to find one of the islands there. We visited Isla Larga. Thanks to my partner's camera, we were able to get that beautiful photo of me, my mom, my sister, and a pelican finishing its meal. It was a hectic, fun, memorable day, and it made me feel very happy and grateful. I hope it's done again. Without further ado, thank you so much for stopping by.
¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Top Family! El día de hoy me uno por aquí para participar nuevamente en el concurso de Jueves de TBT. Estare dejando el enlace al final de la publicación para todo aquel que quiera participar en el concurso. Dicho esto, les presento la anécdota detras de la fotografía que muestro acá en la portada y se trata de la última vez que fuí a la playa junto a mi familia. Fue por allá en el año 2021, cuando acababa de cumplir 24 años y mi hermana Claudia se encontraba en el país (de forma momentáneo) y para aprovechar la ocasión, decidimos ir todos a la playa para celebrar el cumpleaños de forma diferente. Acompáñenme en este recuerdo.
Nunca fuimos una familia de ir mucho a la playa (ni muchas tradiciones en si), pero nos gustaban bastante esos viajes las veces que íbamos a ello. Después de algunos años, no volvimos a hacer algo así juntos (sobre todo porque todos vivíamos en lugares diferentes y distantes) por lo que justo en mi cumpleaños deseaba poder pasar el día en la playa. Para ese momento mi hermana tenía un carrito, por lo que la idea de ir a la playa era no solo factible sino bastante ideal, así que eso hicimos. Bien temprano en la mañana nos fuimos vía a Puerto Cabello para poder dar con una de las islas que hay allí. Visitamos Isla Larga. Gracias a la cámara fotográfica de mi pareja, pudimos conseguir esa bella fotografía donde estamos: mi mamá, mi hermana, yo y un pelícano que terminaba de pescar su comida. Fue un día agitado, divertido, memorable y me hizo sentir muy dichosa y agradecida. Espero se repita. Sin más que decir muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí.
