Greetings to everyone in the Top Family community! Today I'm joining in again for the Throwback Thursday contest. So, I'm bringing you a new story behind the photograph. I'll be leaving the link at the end of the post for anyone who wants to participate. With that said, let's begin.
Today's photo and Throwback Thursday post is about my dear mother. I really enjoy reminiscing because I think my mom, when she was in her twenties and thirties, was especially stylish. She had a beautiful way of dressing that I admired because she looked like a magazine model. She was very fashionable. She liked to wear light-colored clothes, as white, pink, and similar shades suited her very well. I never forget one item that was always a must-have (especially for special occasions), and that was her pearl necklace. Mom has always loved pearls, so she had many things adorned with them: necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and even hair clips.
My mom still enjoys fashion, although she's traded some clothes and accessories for more comfortable and age-appropriate options. That's how she sees it. By the way, the photo was taken during one of my maternal grandmother's birthdays. That particular celebration took place at what used to be my maternal grandmother Hilda's house. My dad is on the left, and on the other side, I honestly don't remember who the man was. He was probably a relative on my uncle's side or a neighbor. It's interesting because the place where they are standing was my grandmother's backyard, where she raised animals to sell. This creates a contrast between my mom, all dressed up, and the rustic, wild background of my grandmother's backyard. I like this photo. That's all for now. ¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Top Family! El día de hoy me uno por aquí para participar nuevamente en el concurso de Jueves de TBT. Así que traigo una nueva anécdota detrás de la fotografía. Estaré dejando el enlace al final de la publicación para todo aquel que desee participar. Dicho esto, comencemos.
La fotografía y el TBT del día de hoy, es sobre mi querida madre. Me gusta mucho traer esos recuerdos porque considero que mi mamá cuando estaba entre sus veintes y treinta, era especialmente coqueta, tenía una forma de vestir muy bonita que yo admiraba pues lucía cómo una modelo de revista. Ella era muy moderna. Le gustaba vestir con prendas de tonos claros, pues le quedaban bastante bien el blanco, los rosas y tonos similares que iban acorde con ella. Yo no olvido nunca una prenda que no podía faltar (sobre todo si se trataba de una ocasión especial) y ese era el collar de perlas. Mamá siempre ha amado las perlas, así que tenía muchas cosas que estaban adornadas por perlas: collares, zarcillos, pulseras y hasta ganchos.
Ahora mismo mi mamá sigue gustando de la moda, aunque ha cambiado algunas prendas y accesorios, por opciones más cómodas y acorde a su edad. Ella así lo considera. Por cierto, la fotografía fue tomada durante uno de los cumpleaños de mi abuela materna. Precisamente esa celebración se dió en lo que era la casa de mi abuela materna, Hilda. Al lado izquierdo está mi papá y al otro lado, sinceramente no recuerdo quién era el señor. Probablemente sería un familiar por parte de mi tío o algún vecino. Es curioso porque precisamente el lugar dónde están ellos era el patio de mi abuela, quién criaba animales para vender. Eso crea un contraste entre la posición de mi mamá, que esta toda emperifollada y el fondo del patio de la casa de mi abuela, que es rústico y salvaje. Esta foto me gusta.
