Jueves de TBT: De Tallulah a la Pradera - Viejas amistades [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Top Family community. Today I'm joining you to share a new memory for this Throwback Thursday. I'll be leaving the contest link at the end of the post for anyone who wants to participate. With that said, let's begin.
This memory is quite old, from way back in 2012, when we celebrated a friend's birthday. My friend Keytt has always come from a large family, and it was funny because you'd think you'd already met all her relatives, but there were always many more nieces, nephews, and cousins (hahaha). That's how I met her siblings and cousins, Kassandra (who's in the photos), and including the birthday boy (Jean), who became a dear friend. That day we all got ready because the trip was to San Joaquín, where he lived, and he had told us they would pick us up very early. We had to be ready. Getting there isn't far, but it is a bit complicated if you have to go by bus or something like that, so it was a relief to have his dad's transportation.
Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Top Family. El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes un nuevo recuerdo en este Jueves de TBT. Estaré dejando el enlace del concurso al final de la publicación para todo aquel que desee participar. Dicho esto, comencemos.
El recuerdo de esta oportunidad es uno bastante antiguo, de por allá en el 2012, cuando celebramos el cumpleaños de un amigo. Mi amiga Keytt siempre ha sido de familia abundante y era gracioso porque en cierta forma tu pensabas que ya habías conocido a todos sus familiares, pero siempre habían muchos más sobrinos y primos (jajaja). Así conocí a sus hermanos y primos, Kassandra (quién está en las fotografías) e incluyendo el cumpleañero (Jean) quién pasó a ser un apreciado amigo. Era divertido y buena persona. Ese día todas nos preparamos porque el viaje era a San Joaquín, dónde él vivía y nos había dicho que pasarían por nosotras bien temprano. Teníamos que estar listas. Llegar allá no es algo lejano pero si un poco complicado si toca irse en autobús o algo así, por lo que fue un alivio poder contar con el transporte de su papá.
There were several of us in the car, but we were comfortable because they were chatting amongst themselves, and it was nice to see that familiarity. Although the heat was incredibly intense, and I remember that very well because it was supposed to be early December and there wasn't much of a breeze. Then we arrived at his house, and since it was still early, the family stayed, but we went to some of their friends' house while we waited for the party to last until late so his friends could be there. And that's exactly what happened; it was a memorable party, and I remember how happy he was about it. I think that with friends and people who love us, life will always be beautiful. That can't be changed. Today I look back on this and remember him so much, especially my friend with that beautiful smile and that fresh and genuine attitude. Now we are all in different parts of the world, but happily, in good health and doing the best we can. That's all for now, thank you so much for stopping by.
Éramos varios en el carro, pero íbamos cómodos pues estaban contando varias cosas entre ellos y eso era agradable, ver esa familiaridad. Aunque el calor estaba súper intenso y eso lo recuerdo muy bien porque se supone que estábamos entrando a diciembre y no había mucha brisa. Luego llegamos a su casa y cómo aún era temprano, la familia se quedó pero nosotros nos fuimos a casa de unos amigos de ellos, mientras se hacía la hora pues la idea era que la fiesta fuera hasta tarde y estuvieran presentes sus amigos. Y así fue, fue una fiesta memorable y recuerdo que él se encontraba feliz por ello. Creo que con amigos y gente que nos quiera, la vida siempre será muy bonita. Eso no se cambia. Hoy veo esto y recuerdo mucho sobre todo a mi amiga con esa bella sonrisa y esa actitud tan fresca y genuina de ser. Ahora todos estamos en distintas partes del mundo, pero felizmente, en buen estado y haciendo lo mejor de nosotros. Sin más que decir, muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí.
