Hello to everyone in the Pinmapple community! Today I'm back with a new tourist review and today I'm going to tell you about my visit to the Venetian Hotel, one of the biggest and most luxurious hotels in Las Vegas. This hotel has an endless number of attractions ranging from its architecture, decoration, entertainment (shows), shops of all kinds, characters (singers and actors) and others, which make it really attractive. So join me in this adventure where I will be telling you all about it, let's start!

The Venetian is located on the east side of the Strip (Paradise, Nevada), one of the most famous streets in Las Vegas. It was formerly the site of the Sands Hotel, owned by Kirk Kerkorian, but after it was sold to the Las Vegas Sands Group, construction began on The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in 1997. The place opened its doors in 1999. An ambitious and complex project intended to serve as a site for accommodation, entertainment and casino rooms, but its primary objective was to function as a convention centre. It featured reproductions of some of the most iconic buildings/places in Venice; The Grand Canal, St. Mark's Square, La Campanille and the Rialto Bridge. This is how The Venetian became a themed hotel with beautiful architecture that remains true to the Venetian style. To put it more precisely, The Venetian is no ordinary hotel and stands out on its own merits.

The Venetian is connected to the Palazzo Casino and Resort, as this is one of the last extensions that were generated. This is how it has become one of the largest hotel complexes in the world. With a total of approximately 11,150 m2 and some 4049 suites. The cost of each suite depends on several factors: size, availability and quality. However, entering the hotel is easy and free of charge, so you can enter, walk around and admire the whole place without any problem. What makes the experience of visiting The Venetian all the more memorable is that it is truly immersive. Starting with its aesthetics, the frescoes that recreate the Sistine Chapel, the "false sky" that creates the illusion of being outdoors and that also seem to move when you walk, the marble floors, the columns and reliefs throughout the building and so on. I've never been to Venice, but I can get the idea.

They also have gondoliers who travel along the canal, singing beautiful lyrics all the time. That's pretty cool because you can get on them and ride along the canal in the gondola. I also understand that there are musical theatre performances every day. To attend them you have to check the schedule of these events and bonus points, it's totally free. Since the Venetian also serves as more than just a place for lodging and gambling, there are several artistic events that are worth enjoying. From time to time, special events are held depending on the festivities of the month, for example, Christmas or New Year's Eve. Finally, there is the Grand Canal Shoppes, where you will find shops, restaurants and bars. As well as the popular arcades.

One of these shops is the Regis Galleries, where Michael Jackson used to buy some of his art pieces. As it is a place with certain restrictions, I couldn't take as many pictures and videos as I wanted to, but I did manage to take some shots and I will talk about it in another post. Finally my friends, The Venetian turned out to be a great experience. Although I wasn't there for long, I was able to visit it and live a different moment. Honestly I felt very happy among so many things, like being inside a movie of renaissance times. Without more to say, I thank you for visiting my blog and reading my post. I send you a big hug and see you next time.

It's incredible how much detail and authenticity went into recreating iconic Venetian landmarks like the Grand Canal, St. Mark's Square, the Rialto Bridge and Campanile right in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. The architectural achievement of capturing that classic Italian Renaissance style and ambiance is truly impressive.
