English Version

Hello to everyone in the Sound Music community! Today I bring you a new cover song. It's the sweet song "In My life", which belongs to the famous, The Beatles. This song belongs to the album Rubber Soul, from 1965. Of course, like many of the group's songs, it became a hit and made it onto Rollings Stone's "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list, ranking #23. It was written by John Lennon, who wanted to make it a more personal song that addressed his life through a look back at it; the places he visited, the people he met, the ones who are gone, the ones who have stayed and a poignant line that, all of those things will always be loved.

This is the second time I've taken a song from the group, because to tell the truth, performing the Beatles is challenging. Although this song has a relatively short length and fairly simple lyrics, it can be challenging with its melody, chorus and vocals that have to go well in unison. John and Paul are not random artists, so honouring them is a challenge. Nevertheless, here is my interpretation of this song. I hope to improve over time. I hope you enjoy it. Without further ado, thank you so much for stopping by. I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. Best regards.

Lyrics/Letra

There are places I'll remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain

All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

In my life I love you more
