Día de la Mujer y un ensayo con Canticum Merú: lo bello de pertenecer [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Lifestyle community. Today I am joining you here to share with you a new day in my daily life. On this occasion, it is about our meeting in the Canticum Merú choir, to rehearse some of the pieces that we will be presenting on March 28 for the choir's anniversary. On that day, we will be performing at the Portuguese Club. The repertoire consists of about 12 sacred songs that will serve to pay tribute to all these years of service that the choir has given to the city of Guayana and the entire country. The truth is that they are quite beautiful, so I am excited to be able to fulfill this duty. I hope to be able to show you a little bit about it later, and if possible, in a video so that you can clearly hear how the rehearsals are going.
This Thursday, we all had to dress in pink or white for a photo shoot for Women's Day, which is celebrated on March 8. It couldn't be any other way, since we are (exclusively) a group of women. So, we all dressed in those colors to the letter, plus a small detail (a pin) that serves to unify the group, which is a rose that goes on the left side of our chest. The roses were also different colors, and if I remember correctly, they were made by the women some time ago, or at least that was the case at first.
Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Lifestyle. El día de hoy me uno por acá para compartir con ustedes un nuevo día en mi día a día. En esta ocasión se trata de nuestra reunión en el coro Canticum Merú, para poder ensayar algunas de las piezas que estaremos presentando este 28 de marzo por el aniversario de la coral. Dicho día estaremos presentándonos en lo que es el Club Portugués. El repertorio es de unas 12 canciones sacras que servirán para poder rendir tributo a todos estos años de servicio que ha tenido el coro para con la Ciudad de Guayana y el país entero. Lo cierto es que son bastante hermosas así que me siento emocionada por poder cumplir con este deber. Espero más adelante poder mostrarles un poco sobre ello y si es posible en un video para que puedan escuchar claramente cómo va el trabajo en los ensayos.
Para este día jueves se tuvo la necesidad de que todas nos vistiéramos de colores rosa o blanco para poder hacer la toma de la fotografía que servirá para el día de la mujer que se celebra este 8 de marzo. No podía ser de otra forma ya que somos (exclusivamente) un grupo de solo mujeres. Así que sí todas estuvimos al pie de la letra vestidas con dichos colores, más un pequeño detalle (un prendedor) que sirve para uniformar el grupo y el cual es una rosa que va al lado izquierdo del pecho de nosotras. Las rosas también eran de diferentes colores y Y si mal no recuerdo fueron hechas por ellas hace algún tiempo o al menos en un principio así lo fue.
I like the warm atmosphere of the choir... that each female member is actively working in some way to contribute to it. Whether with their hands, their ideas, their skills, or in a thousand other ways, there is always someone doing something for the choir. And the possibility of having unconditional support is invaluable for anyone who wants to set a precedent. That makes it a very special choir, as each member strives to keep alive the legacy that has been sown throughout the choir's 31 years. Of course, there are sometimes differences, but there is no personal reason that can undo that unity and common purpose. They know how much this choir means to others and to themselves. At least this is something I have witnessed myself... It is my experience and my reality. I feel blessed to belong here and I am also willing to give 100% of myself. Me gusta ese aspecto cálido que tiene el coro... de que cada mujer miembro del mismo, se mantiene activamente trabajando de alguna forma para contribuir con el. Esto lo hicieron ellas. Ya sea con sus manos, con sus ideas, sus habilidades y miles de formas más, siempre hay alguien haciendo algo para el coro. Y la posibilidad de contar con el apoyo incondicional, es algo invaluable para cualquiera que desee marcar un precedente. Eso lo vuelve un coro muy especial, pues cada miembro se esfuerza por mantener vivo el legado que se ha sembrado durante todos estos 31 años del coro. Claro, a veces hay diferencias, pero no hay motivo personal que pueda deshacer esa unión y propósito comun. Ellas sabe lo mucho que este coro representa para los demás y para ellas mismas. Al menos esto es algo que yo misma he atestiguado... Es mi experiencia y mi vivencia. Me siento dichosa de pertenecer aquí y también estoy dispuesta a dar el 100% de mi persona.
