Day at School: Preparing for the Art Exhibition [ENG/ESP]

.Greetings to everyone in the community! Today I'm joining you to share with you what this class was like. We've been quite busy preparing for the CIMOS Anniversary Exhibition, so all the representatives were looking for materials so the children could produce something: a graphite portrait, a portrait in any painting medium, collage, and more. It's important to see how caring parents are and how much they're trying to provide for their children, as they arrived today with almost everything we were going to need for the project.
.The day was rainy, so many students arrived a little late. I felt sorry to see them because their heads were wet, but they soon dried off and everything was better. The younger children worked with paint and used various references that had to do with the Venezuelan writer or the school. My favorite reference was the Owl, as it represents wisdom and is an icon of the school. The little ones loved that idea. I don't know how, but the hour flew by, and I felt like I needed a little more time to finish. We're still learning to draw and do various things with graphite and colored pencils, so each child needed some individual time. I completely forgot to take pictures of them in the hustle and bustle of the moment.

.The idea, however, was for them to start the week making up for the lost day, so they would have more days to work so they wouldn't feel pressured to do everything immediately and quickly. With the second group arriving, things went much more calmly, so I directly explained what we could do, and they chose what they felt most comfortable with. The contrast between the two groups is strange, as one is quite lively and boisterous, and the other is more serene and quiet. I feel very happy because the children were able to coordinate several tasks with a little help. We still have a long way to go, but every day is worthwhile.

It's really great to encourage children's creativity in this way. I love that you are giving each child individual time so they can focus on their art.
Greetings 😁 I always try to give them at least a few minutes to deal with them individually. Thank you for your appreciation. U
What a great activity. Good job teacher for being so considerate for the late comers students. It's really essential to give students enough time to finish their work so that they could give their best shot on the activity.✨
Greetings 😁 Yes, it's important to take that into account. That also includes when some kids progress faster than others. Everything in its own time. Thank you very much for stopping by the blog.
👍👍👍
Hello dear, your art is amazing, I especially admire the color, they are not too flashy but calm.
Beautiful display. Thanks for sharing
Greetings 😁 The work shown in the photographs is the children's, not mine. Although they certainly work very well.
The children's?! 😲🫢
Wow! They must be really talented, this is really great sketch.
