Cultural Walk in the Center of Valencia [ENG/ESP]
(Edited)
Greetings to everyone in the Wednesday Walk community! Today I'm joining today to share with you what my Wednesday walk was like. Incidentally, just today I was visiting downtown Valencia with my mom and stepfather, who embarked on an adventure to visit some of the most important museums in the city: La Casa Celis (also known as Lisandro Alvarado Foundation), La Casa Natal de José Rafael Pocaterra), La Casa de la Estrella (former Hospital and Cemetery of the province of Valencia) and a brief visit to La Plaza Sucre, El Teatro Municipal, La Biblioteca Feo la Cruz and some more spaces.
The truth, as I have been commenting to my family (who are natives of here, like me), with just a little piece of Valencia has been enough and more than enough to know Venezuela because there is plenty of information, history and places for it. Of course this is because it is a very old city and one of the most important in the country, so it is natural to find everything here to spend time, learn and be entertained. I think that if I stopped about 200 times to take pictures it is not enough, because although here I do not show everything I saw, I could really get a lot of pictures. I will leave those pictures for another time because I think that each place visited deserves a publication on its own. There is enough of the same that I would like to talk about.
I currently live in Puerto Ordaz, but sometimes I feel strange there. Although now, when I have returned to Valencia, I feel strange in this my hometown. I think I got used to the quiet pace of life in Puerto Ordaz. Although definitely (without intending to discredit, nor take away merits to the city), Puerto Ordaz does not offer so many places of cultural interest. I think San Felix has more to offer in that aspect and it shows. Although Puerto Ordaz has a lot of potential, even if it is a young city. Back to Valencia, today I really enjoyed my tour, my walk. Although there was an intense and quite suffocating heat, but by that point we had already returned home. Without further ado, thank you very much for stopping by.
