Black and White Photo Collection: Solemn Nature [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Visual Shots community. Today I'm joining you to share a new collection of photographs, this time, a black and white collection. It had been quite a while since I'd edited photos this way, so it was time. And, of course, I started experimenting with nature photographs. I hope you enjoy the journey.
With black and white, you can achieve some truly excellent images. It's often given a chance because, in a "magical" way, every photograph converted to black and white seems to acquire a certain character, a certain beauty, and generates a bit more interest than color photographs. For me, that depends a lot on what's being photographed, that is, the object or elements in front of the lens, because I would say that not everything turns out well simply by converting the image to black and white. Furthermore, the nuances, saturation, and tone can change drastically from one black and white edit to another.
Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Visual Shots. El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes una nueva recopilación de fotografía, en esta ocasión, una entrega en blanco y negro. Tenía ha bastante tiempo desde que no me decidía a editar las fotografías de esa forma, así que ya era momento para ello. Y cómo no podía ser de otra forma, me puse experimentar con fotografías de la naturaleza. Espero que disfruten del recorrido.
Con los blancos y negros, se pueden lograr imágenes bastante buenas. Usualmente se le suele dar una buena oportunidad porque de una forma "mágica", todas fotografía que se transforma al blanco y negro parece obtener cierto carácter, cierta belleza y genera un poco más de interés que las fotografías a color. Para mí eso depende mucho de lo que se está tomando en cuestión, es decir, del objeto o elementos que tengamos frente al lente pues yo diría que no todo queda bien solo porque coloquemos la imagen en blanco y negro. Además los matices, saturación y tono, pueden cambiar drásticamente de una edición en blanco y negro a otra.
For example, some of the images here have deeper blacks than others, or the figures stand out less despite the increased whites. I think it all depends on that (what we have in front of us), the light, and the editing. So I hope I did a good job editing them... Although I like how they turned out. My favorites are the last one and the first three. I think they have certain shapes and patterns that are visually pleasing. As a side note, I took the photos after a heavy downpour, so you can see (slightly) that dew. A delicate, sober, and somewhat melancholic nature at this moment. By the way, the last photo reminds me of an element from Twin Peaks (the series) that was in the Black Lodge. It resembled a large human nerve. Por ejemplo, algunas de las imágenes de aquí tienen unos negros más acentuados que otros o dónde la figura destaca menos a pesar de subir los blancos. Yo creo que todo depende de eso (lo que tengamos en frente), la luz y la edición. Por lo que espero haber hecho un buen trabajo en edición... Aunque a mí me han gustado cómo quedaron. Mis favoritas son la última y las primeras tres. Creo que tienen ciertas formas y patrones que son agradables visualmente. Cómo un dato para saber, las fotografías las tome luego de que cayó un gran torrencial de agua, por lo que se ve (levemente) ese rocío. Una naturaleza delicada, sobria y algo melancólica la de este momento. Por cierto, la última fotografía me recuerda a un elemento de Twin Peaks (la serie) que estaba en la Logia Negra.
