Anime Review: Crayon Shin-Chan - The funny and energetic Japanese boy [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in The Realm Anime community! Today I'm joining you all to share another anime review. This time, it's a rather unusual anime, full of humor, irreverence, fun, and mischief. It's one of the animes that proved to be quite popular around the world in its time, broadcast on various television channels and in several languages. It's Crayon Shin-Chan (by Yoshito Usui, 2006-2011), an anime that tells the daily adventures in the home of Shinnosuke Nohara, better known as Shin-Chan, a preschooler whose crazy personality drives everyone around him crazy. I think many of you here have seen the anime at some point and will remember this beloved (or perhaps hated) character. If not, well, here they are.

En esta ocasión se trata de un anime bastante particular, cargado de mucho humor, irreverencia, diversión y travesuras, siendo uno de los animes que en su tiempo resultó ser bastante popular alrededor del mundo, siendo transmitido por distintos canales televisivos y en varios idiomas. Se trata de Crayon Shin-Chan, un anime que nos trae las aventuras dirias en el hogar de Shinnosuke Nohara, más conocido cómo Shin-Chan (por Yoshito Usui, 2006-2011), un niño de preescolar quién con su personalidad alocada, saca de sus quicio a todas las personas de su alrededor. Creo que muchos aquí habrán logrado ver el anime en su momento y recordarán al querido (o quizás odiado) personaje y si no es así, pues aquí se los presento.
Shin-Chan lives in Kasukabe, a district of Japan, where he resides in a fairly well-to-do house with his parents, Hiroshi and Misao Nohara (and occasionally, his little sister, Daisy), as well as his beloved dog, Doki. The anime presents different stories chapter by chapter, almost always unrelated to the previous ones (although they do follow a timeline) and generally depicting stories of little Shin-Chan's daily life: at home, at school, on the street, or any other setting (with friends, family, or animals). It's an engaging anime due to little Shin-Chan's energetic personality, with his actions and thoughts reminiscent of an older child with great insight. He also almost always causes chaos around him, whether he realizes it or not. These are the funniest moments. Despite this, you can't hate him; Shin-Chan isn't a truly evil child and is sometimes even adorable.
Shin-Chan vive en Kasukabe, un distrito de Japón en dónde reside en una casa más o menos bien acomodada junto a sus padres, Hiroshi y Misao Nohara (y eventualmente, su pequeña hermanita Daisy), además de su querido perro, Doki. El anime presenta distintas historias capitulo por capítulo, casi siempre sin relación alguna con los anteriores (aunque si sigue una linea de tiempo) y en general siendo historias del diario vivir del pequeño Shin-Chan: en su casa, en la escuela, en la calle o cualquier otro escenario (junto amigos, familias o animales). Resulta un anime atrayente por la personalidad energética del pequeño Shin-Chan, con sus acciones y pensamientos igual a las de un niño de mayor edad que posee gran perspicacia. Además de que, sin percatarse o siendo consciente de ello, casi siempre causa un gran caos a su alrededor. Siendo los momentos más graciosos. A pesar de ello no puedes odiarlo, Shin-Chan no es un niño realmente malvado y es en ocasiones hasta adorable.
Although it was created for children in its country of origin (Japan), in other countries it was filmed/rated for audiences over 12 years old, due to the fact that the anime could sometimes be a bit intense due to the themes or scenes that occur. Although this will of course depend on each country, context, and person. The anime seems to be a parody of Japanese society, with the boy's behavior not at all exemplary for Japanese people, which is why his parents despair when they see no reflection in the boy despite their efforts. Although it's not really that harsh or critical, it's a gentle and enjoyable humor. I think even for Japanese people. The anime could be compared a bit to Doraemon, which has similar aspects. In any case, Shin-Chan is a great way to laugh, regardless of your background, because I think it's very suitable for anyone, as it depicts very human situations in everyday life. Aunque en su país de origen (Japón) fue creado para un público infantil, en otros países fue tomado/clasificado para un público mayor a los 12 años, gracias a qué en ocasiones el anime podía resultar un poco intenso por los temas o escenas sucedidas. Aunque esto dependerá por su puesto de cada país, contexto y persona. El anime parece ser una parodia de la sociedad japonesa, siendo que el comportamiento del niño no es nada ejemplar para los japoneses, de allí que sus padres se desesperen al no ver ningún tipo de reflexión en el niño a pesar de sus esfuerzos. Aunque no es realmente tan dura o crítica, es un humor suave y disfrutable. Creo que incluso para los japoneses. El anime podría comprarse un poco con Doraemon, teniendo cosas similares. En todo caso, Shin-Chan es una gran opción para reír, indiferentemente de quién seas pues creo que se ajusta muy bien a cualquier persona al mostrar situaciones muy humanas del diario vivir.
