Some time ago I read something that stayed in my memory, the story about an aviator who was stranded in the desert after his plane broke down, he was so engrossed in his problem that at the beginning he almost did not notice the presence of a visitor, it is a child who claims to come from the asteroid B-612, the little prince tells the pilot about his travels and adventures through the galaxy and the different planets, while the pilot listens to him with resignation, but in the end, almost without realizing it, he finds himself totally devoted to the stories of the little prince, to his stories, to his teachings, but when he understands it, the prince is about to leave.

Hace tiempo leí algo que se me quedó en la memoria, la historia sobre un aviador que se quedó varado en el desierto luego de que su avión se averiara, él estaba tan enfrascado en su problema que al inicio casi no percibe la presencia de un visitante, se trata de un niño que dice venir del asteroide B-612, el pequeño príncipe le cuanta al piloto sobre sus viajes y aventuras a través de la galaxia y los diferentes planetas, mientras el piloto lo escucha con resignación, pero al final, casi sin darse cuenta se encuentra totalmente entregado a los relatos del principito, a sus historias, a sus enseñanzas, pero cuando lo comprende el príncipe está a punto de partir.

I am not a person who likes complex reading, so I prefer the simple narrative, simple to understand like this one, which could easily be considered as reading for children, and in fact my first encounter with the book was when I read it to my daughters, but as you read it having already a mature mentality, you realize that it is actually a book full of metaphors and a lot of existential depth, it is impressive how there can be so many things in such a short book. Above all, what caught my attention was the way in which the reader, regardless of age, can understand human nature and its different ways of thinking through the characters in the story, such as the king, the vain, the drinker, the businessman, the lamplighter, and the geographer.

Yo no soy una persona a la que le guste la lectura compleja, por eso prefiero la narrativa simple, sencilla de entender como esta, que podría considerarse fácilmente como lectura para niños, y de hecho mi primer encuentro con el libro fue cuando se lo leí a mis hijas, pero a medida que lo lees teniendo ya una mentalidad madura, te das cuenta que en realidad es un libro lleno de metáforas y mucha profundidad existencial, es impresionante como puede haber tantas cosas en un libro tan corto. Sobre todo lo que más llamó mi atención fue la manera en que el lector, sin importar su edad puede entender la naturaleza humana y sus distintas formas de pensar a través de los personajes de la historia como el rey, el vanidoso, el bebedor, el hombre de negocios, el farolero y el geógrafo

The scene where the aviator talks about drawing as a child automatically transports you as a reader to your own childhood, because it makes you feel the same emotions you felt back then, especially the frustration that caused you the fact that adults could not understand you in something that seemed so obvious, what happens is adults, perhaps because of work, responsibilities and stress, only see things they consider banal in a superficial way, children instead with an innate tendency to imagination can see beyond the obvious, they are more perceptive and more sensitive, are capabilities that we lose when we get older. The same happens with the scene where the little prince asks the aviator to draw him a sheep and only accepts the drawing of the box, he does it because the aviator thought as a child would do it, telling him that the sheep he wanted was inside the box,

La escena donde el aviador habla sobre el dibujo cuando era niño automáticamente te traslada como lector a tu propia niñez, porque te hace sentir las mismas emociones de entonces, sobre todo la frustración que te causaba el hecho de que los adultos no pudieran entenderte en algo que parecía tan obvio, lo que pasa es los adultos, tal vez por culpa del trabajo, las responsabilidades y el estrés, solo ven las cosas que consideran banales de una manera superficial, los niños en cambio con una tendencia innata a la imaginación pueden ver más allá de lo evidente, son más perceptivos y más sensibles, son capacidades que perdemos cuando nos hacemos mayores. Lo mismo pasa con la escena donde el principito le pide al aviador que le dibuje una oveja y solo acepta el dibujo de la caja, lo hace porque el aviador pensó como lo haría un niño, diciéndole que la oveja que quería estaba dentro de la caja,

I feel that this book, among other things tells us about the loss of innocence, because when we are adults we begin to see life differently, it teaches us the value of friendship and the love that human beings should have towards their fellow human beings and their environment, the search for a purpose that motivates you to move forward and be better every day. The book makes you live many emotions and even makes you shed a tear of nostalgia for your childhood, at least that's what I felt 😅.

Siento que este libro, entre otras cosas nos habla de la pérdida de la inocencia, pues cuando somos adultos comenzamos a ver la vida de otra manera, nos enseña el valor de la amistad y el amor que debe tener el ser humano hacia sus semejantes y su entorno, la búsqueda de un propósito que te motive a salir adelante y ser mejor cada día. El libro te hace vivir muchas emociones e incluso te hace soltar una lágrima de nostalgia por tu niñez, al menos fue lo que yo sentí 😅.
