Girl from Nowhere (Serie TV) [Review] ESP/ENG

Recently I have been watching a series that caught my attention since I saw the advertising poster because the look of the girl is quite sinister, however when I started watching I realized that it was even worse than I imagined, so now that I have a broader criterion I would like to share with you my opinion.
Recientemente he estado viendo una serie que llamó mi atención desde que vi el poster publicitario pues la mirada de la chica es bastante siniestra, sin embargo al empezar a ver me di cuenta de que era aún peor de lo que imaginaba, así que ahora que ya tengo un criterio más amplio me gustaría compartir con ustedes mi opinión.
Nanno is apparently a new student who comes to every school with one goal, to create chaos, to make evil people pay for what they have done or for what they are capable of doing. At the beginning I thought she was a bad person because even though some might see her as a kind of “heroine” or “avenger” the truth is that sometimes innocent people are also involved, however it took me very little to understand that really she is not even human, she is a supernatural entity, karma itself personified, and karma is neither good nor bad, it simply exists with all its consequences, for example if you hurt someone that evil will be returned to you where it hurts the most.
Nanno es aparentemente una estudiante nueva que llega a cada colegio con un objetivo, crear el caos, hacer que las personas malvadas paguen por lo que han hecho o por lo que son capaces de hacer. Al inicio yo creía que ella era una mala persona pues a pesar de que algunos pudieran verla como una especie de "heroína" o "vengadora" la verdad es que a veces también se ven involucradas personas inocentes, sin embargo me tomó muy poco entender que realmente ella ni siquiera es humana, es un ente sobrenatural, el karma mismo personificado, y el karma no es ni bueno ni malo, simplemente existe con todo y sus consecuencias, por ejemplo si lastimas a alguien ese mal se te devolverá donde más te duela.
Viewed from this point of view Nanno is an anti-hero, she has no moral codes, she does not abide by them, so she does not seek justice by conventional means. Each episode is different so they have no continuity, but still the premise of the new girl who arrives at school with “good intentions” is maintained. In some cases we realize that she is the one who tries to provoke difficult situations with her apparent “innocence” but in reality what she does is to test people's true feelings in order to then know how to act with them and how to design her revenge. She is sarcastic and Machiavellian, she knows perfectly how to manipulate or use her charms to achieve her ends. So far my favorite episode is the first one, where she with all her wiles manages to expose a pedophile teacher, driving him to the brink of madness, destroying him from what he loved most in the world.
Viéndola desde este punto de vista Nanno es una antihéroe, no tiene códigos morales, no se rige por ellos, así que no busca justicia por medios convencionales. Cada episodio es distinto así que no tienen continuidad, pero aún así se mantiene la premisa de la chica nueva que llega a la escuela con "buenas intenciones". En algunos casos nos damos cuenta de que es ella quien intenta provocar las situaciones difíciles con su aparente "inocencia" pero en realidad lo que hace es probar los verdaderos sentimientos de las personas para luego saber de qué forma actuar con ellos y como diseñar su venganza. Es sarcástica y maquiavélica, sabe perfectamente como manipular o usar sus encantos para lograr sus fines. Hasta ahora mi episodio favorito es el primero, donde ella con todas sus artimañas se las arregla para exponer a un profesor pedófilo, llevándolo hasta el borde de la locura, destruyéndolo desde lo que más amaba en el mundo.
Something I read about the series and that I found very accurate is that most of the stories are based on real events that happened in Thailand, and that the objective is to do justice in a certain way with those people, however Nanno, as the central axis of each of the episodes does not pretend to empathize with anyone, neither victim nor victimizer, he is simply there to emphasize that every action generates a consequence that can be good or bad depending on the context, so in that sense it is very realistic, which makes the series much more interesting.
Algo que leí sobre la serie y que me pareció muy acertado es que la mayoría de las historias están basadas en hechos reales ocurridos en Tailandia, y que el objetivo es hacer justicia de cierta manera con esas personas, sin embargo Nanno, como eje central de cada uno de los episodios no pretende empatizar con nadie, ni victima ni victimario, simplemente está allí para recalcar que toda acción genera una consecuencia que puede ser buena o mala dependiendo del contexto, así que en ese sentido es muy realista, lo que hace que la serie sea mucho más interesante.
Another episode that I enjoyed a lot is divided in two parts and is about a wall of the girls' bathroom in which one of the girls of the school writes messages, but soon she realizes that everything she writes becomes real, at the beginning the messages of the girl are malicious towards Nanno but still full of childishness, however these are becoming darker until the whole school discovers what happens with that wall and also want to write nefarious messages, turning everything into a real chaos, the result resulted in a terrible chastisement, so this also I have it as one of the best episodes of the whole series.
Otro episodio que disfruté bastante está dividido en dos partes y se trata de una pared del baño de chicas en el cuál una de las chicas del colegio escribe mensajes, per pronto se da cuenta que todo lo que escribe se vuelve real, al inicio los mensajes de la muchacha son malintencionados hacia Nanno pero aún así llenos de infantilismo, no obstante estos se van tornando más oscuros hasta que toda la escuela descubre lo que sucede con esa pared y también desean escribir mensajes nefastos, volviendo todo un verdadero caos, el resultado derivó en un escarmiento terrible, así que este también lo tengo como uno de los mejores episodios de toda la serie-

Me encanta esta serie, esa mezcla entre "inocencia" y misterio de Nanno la hace impredecible a los ojos de los demás. Estoy de acuerdo contigo, ella no es ni buena ni mala, es simplemente el Karma personificado.
