If one beats the other, then the loser is damaged. Why would any of us want a damaged brain/heart (never mind both). On top of that, a brain with sufficient damage takes the heart along w/ it.
Even as a political cartoon, it's misleading.
This is only misleading if you’re ignoring the fact that the image is clearly meant to relay an idea.
Hearts and brains don’t have arms, so the “battle” isnt a fist fight. It’s speaking to the eternal battle with man placing his “logic” above all else, when in fact the heart is magnitudes stronger (electromagnetically) and picks up data well before the brain does.
I can also speak on the relationship between the brain and the conscious & the heart and the subconscious, along w/ why the subconscious is superior…but maybe some other time.
To wrap up, it’s only misleading if u take the symbolic image literally
