1/šŸ§µ Another note to new lions.
Read the appropriate community rules before posting to them and/or participating in @leogrowth initiatives.

Got my 1st couple downvotes because I didnā€™t read the rules b4 posting my tea recipe in the
@amazingdrinks community.

While I think the ā¬‡ļøvotes were a bit much, I understand what the communities here are fighting against when it comes to people trying to farm rewards, so I get it. Even more so, I hold myself accountable above all else so itā€™s my faultā€¦shouldā€™ve read the rules. I typically do but oh well.

Either way, just sharing so u donā€™t make the same mistake I did.

Idc about downvotes but if ur a newb those things can really hurt ur rep score.

FYI: ā€œRulesā€ are just for posting within specific communities and are typically safeguards to prevent scamming and spamming. There are no general posting rules.

True indeed. Yea no worries though
That mechanism has to be in place for some checks & balances, especially while weā€™re scaling

Just out of curiosity, why was your tea recipe not compliant with the amazing drinks community?

If I remember correctly ur supposed to include 3 photos of you making the drink. Then no AIā€¦I would assume just for the actual content, but I used it only for the title image. Guess thatā€™s a no-no too

Community shouldn't be that rigid to new comers. It's certain that a new comer will likely make mistake and I think that's not enough to get downvoted. A correction reply would do or they simply ignore the post.

Yea thats more along the lines of what I expected. I'm not new but that was my 1st time posting to that community. I dont even feel a way about it. Just a reminder to read the deets

Some community moderators are so toxic and rude.

Ur right, some areā€¦but I wonā€™t cast that judgement on this case. Moderating content is work and with AI/bots I can imagine itā€™s that much more time consuming. Saves a lot of time by just āŒing who doesnā€™t follow the rules. Just have to find the balance

I just checked a few communities from inleo, but I can't seem to locate the rules section.
Are they not visible when using inleo? šŸ¤”

It's a proper advice though!
