The blue collar job overtaking the white collar job in our society today
Blue collar jobs over white collar job, in my own way of explaining it, the blue collar job is kind of job where you work for what you eat, the amount of your engagement equals to amount of your pay.
Yes today most people have abandoned the blue collar job thinking it's doesn't worth it. They just want to full the white collar job industry with plenty of their credentials without hope of being respond to.
We all admire sitting in the office, just doing some paper work. Just like me, I'm kind of a career person, I just liked everything about the paper work, just sitting in the office, attending to people without my hand being stained and enjoying the Air conditioner.
Looking at the world today, I'll say that the blue collar job that require the manual labour is beating the office work. Talking about this out of the experience of my dad. My dad was working in one office like that as a civil servants. When I was still in secondary school. And my mum was a teacher too. Yh they were both into the white collar job. But yet things were hard, we literally could pay our fees until the end of the month, and sometimes they don't pay them on time. So before the money comes in we might probably had gotten some things on credit waiting for the almighty government to pay. It continued like that. So you know when the salary comes in its going for the credit we collected from mama Ngozi.
But the narrative changed, my dad quit his job and started the hustling, he ventured into a business and then bumb everything changed. We no longer wait till the end of the month to do whatever we want, we no longer wait till the end of the month to settle our bills. We could get whatever we want, my dad became the boss of himself, no more putting all hopes on government for a penny.
As times goes on my mum joined the line, and everything changed.
We no longer know the difference between end of the month or middle anymore because everything was now going smooth.
Yes I know some of you will be wondering why would my parents quite their comfortable job just to start up a business. It was necessary.
That's why today I'll advise the youth to learn a skill, it's pays more than just sitting in the office.
During my university days I used part of my time to learn sewing, and today instead of waiting for my school to release my clearance form, and issue out my certificate, have actually gotten something doing with my life.
So learn something today, everything is not just about sitting in the office, doing the paper job, let your hand do something.
Just like the case of my parents, they needed a comfortable life for their children, that's why they had to take that step to resigned from their job and used their hand to do something and also create employment for other people.
