Have finally made it here....
Among all the numerous story told during my childhood. This is the only story that is living rent free in my head.
Once upon a time, the birds wanted to organise a feast in the sky, as per say tortoise Na foody. He didn't want to be left out. But he reasoned how he will fly with the birds since they feast will be taking place in the sky. As sense man, he begged the birds to share their wings with him so he can fly too. And they agreed.
When they finally made their way to feast, everyone was sited and he stood up to introduce himself saying his name is 'All of you'
So when it was time for the item 6 Na...they said this food is for all of you..Na so my guy take chop everything.
The birds were angry and collected their wings back, you know that feelings when you borrow person wig go misbehave, the owner come collect for the occasion. Na Wetin been do tortoise.
So since he could not fly back, he asked the birds to go tell his wife to bring out all the soft things, so he can land safely. But his wife did otherwise. By this, he fell down and his shelf broke into pieces.so the birds helped him fixed them, but the scare still remain till today. Which is the tortoise rough body.
