Encouraging the youth. A review

Greetings my mcgicares community sorry for the short break.
This is a beautiful review topic to embark upon. Encouraging the youth, Bro Eli said one striking thing , that you do not force the person to serve what he/she does not believe in . This is pure true. Some parents or guidance think they can force their children to serve God or be committed in church. If you force them to do it, they are only doing it to please you and not God, he's only doing it with the fear that 'ohh my parents will punish me or see me as a bad child if I don't do it'.

And with this mentality the service is waste. Letting your youth know God for themselves, will actually make them discover their purpose of serving God and also know how important it is to serve God in their youthful age. There is this saying that says you can only take a horse to the stream but can't force it to drink ..oh if that's how they say..😂

You can't always force the youth to serve or to know God.
Taking example from myself, there was a time my dad will force be to church, force me to be committed. I was doing all of those things and also planning that one day I'll stay alone , I won't serve. I saw it as a way of pleasing my dad, Orr my dad just wants the community to say his children have good morals and all of that. Little did I know that my dad was doing me good.

I continued with this mind set until my one day my dad sat me down and spoke to me, he asked me to study the bible myself for a week and I did that.
That's how everything changed, I'm now the one dragging my dad to all the church activities. 😂
So the best thing you do for the youth is to encourage them, telling them that, the best time to serve God is now that everything in their body is still running, working very well. Telling them that there is life after the youth season where you literally can not do some of the things you're doing now. And by that time it's your youthful service that will pay you.
