Christmas as a kid my preference.

Growing up as a child Christmas was one of my best season as you get to see different people coming home for holidays.
The part that interest me most was that our house will be full of people.
My cousins will come around, and they won't just come alone they will come with their friends and the house will become more fun. The house that was barely just me, my siblings, and my parents.you will see how full it will be that we can even open a church.😂

Everyone coming around had their favourite persons they vibes with very well.
When you are sent on an errand, you will be happy cause you will see someone who is so eager to follow you. And you will me happy on the other side too because you will get to flaunt your cousin's to your neighbours and then telling them they came around.

The eating part, I liked the fact you will get to taste different food in a day, cause everyone has their own order which they want.
So you will be given opportunity to taste the food.
Christmas as a kid was one of my best season because, ...I'm not even talking about the part where your parents will renew your things especially of you're traveling that year to see a family. It was always a period of reunion as people from far countries will be coming down just to meet their families and spend time with them.
How about the Christmas party in school back then... I just don't want to talk about it...the party where you will dance, mime and everything. The feelings can not be underestimated.

Christmas as a kid, by this time your parents had already use broom to measure your legs to take to the market, and that day, you can't just wait for the return of your mum to see your new shoes and clothes.
And that feelings that you have a new clothes will make you be anticipating Christmas day, so you will show your friends you got new things.
I'm not even talking about the real Christmas day which is 25th, ohh you see people bringing food from far and near, your neighbours aren't an exemption. And you on the other side will be taking food to your neighbours.
You see people just exchanging gifts like that...I mean this will make you feel the effects of the season.
How about the father Christmas play in church, the drama team and everything...omor... Christmas was fun as a child.

Not now that everybody are now grown up, acting all serious
To travel down now, they will start considering the transport and all they will do is, send me your account number let me transfer money. No reunion, everybody are just talking through the phone. Before you will see your sister outside the country, it will take years.
Meanwhile when I was a kid, it was as if it's mandatory that every Christmas they will come home.
