Pier

A special lady picked me up few weeks ago & drove me to a very special place called Šmitovo jezero, near Ogulin, Croatia. Jezero means lake so it can be translated as Schmit's lake. It is very small by surface but seemed quiet deep. There were various fishes swimming peacefully inside. The wind was mildly blowing & the spring colors, smells & sounds of Nature were vibrating all around us & so were we, embraced, kissing & cuddling... The place is extra romantic & no people passed in the time we spent there. I'm looking forward to our next meeting.

From time to time the wind fully disappeared & the surface of the lake went completely still in a moment when I used the opportunity to shoot that ideal, picturesque sight. It is fascinating for me to see a pier built on the coast of such a small lake. There was a small boat outside on the shore. I was wondering for what does this pier serve for. Probably for jumping in during the summer heats but probably for getting into the boat too...

The upper shot I made with Nikon Z6 & Nikon AF Nikkor 35-70 mm lens & for the self-portrait below I used the older Nikon D800 & the same lens.
