My Cleaning Activity for Today

Happy weekend friends and everyone in the #cleanplanet community.
This post shares images and a detailed write-up of how I cleaned my surroundings today being the last Saturday of the month. May is my birth month and I wish to never leave this month because it seems I have more blessings this month, lol. But unfortunately, the month is coming to an end and today being the last Saturday, I have no school activities and therefore no excuse to skip my cleaning activity for the day.

Here are the photos of my cleaning below. The photos display the step by step processes I took to achieve a cleaner environment. I came out with an empty transparent bag and guess what, by the time I was done, the environment was clean and the bag filled.
So with my gloves on to be sure of my safety, I picked up every trash that messed up the area and properly stuffed them in the trash bag.

I cleaned both sides of the street and ensured no trash was left behind as I combed through the short grasses to pick every trash hidden there.

Most times, the trash comes from passersby and sometimes it's wind that brings them all the way from nowhere to dump on my street and I'm left to do the needful by getting them gathered and properly disposed of.

Regularly doing my cleaning activity has added a lot of benefits to me and my environment. One, we are safe from hostile intruding animals like snakes and rats which find dirty places as abodes. My street also takes a cleaner look after every cleaning activity and this adds to us living around the area a better reputation.
