My Cleaning Activity for Today 6th July, 2025.

Happy Sunday dear friends and everyone in the #cleanplanet community. It's the beginning of a new week and a resting day too, so I took the opportunity of my free time today to engage in some cleaning activities.

I did my cleaning activity this morning before preparing to leave for church but due to lack of time, I wasn't able to make-up the written description of the procedures I took to achieve the cleaning exercise. So, just returning from church now, I see it's the right time to share it with everyone. I have always been engaging in regular cleaning activities but most times I don't share Hive due to lack of time on school days.

For today, the cleaning activity was a wet one. It rained heavily last night and was still drizzling even while I did my cleaning activity. Knowing the usefulness of the cleaning activity, I didn't take the drizzle as an excuse for not doing my cleaning activity. My cleaning activity was done along my street. I started from my gate and cleared every trash along the street down to the church junction.

I used a white transparent bag which we have in common at home. It's a bag for packaging sachet water for delivery. Since we do order for the bags of water, we have it in excess. So with my gloves, the transparent bag and the waste bucket, I was able to clean up my street and make it look good.

After I had gradually picked up all the trash and gathered them into the picking bag, I made my way down to the waste bucket and properly disposed of the gathered trash. Like I always say in most of my cleaning posts, no cleaning activity can be termed complete without proper disposal of the gathered trash/waste.
