18 March 2024, @mariannewest's Freewrite Writing Prompt Day 2315: third rate singer

If you are not an orphan, you will never know what orphans pass through. For me,orphans who become successful in life are the strongest people in this world. Orphans don't have parents who would always advise them and back them up with every support they need. This story you are about to read is about an orphan named Dall.

Source
Dall was an orphan from the day he was born. His mother died after delivery due to several issues she had during her pregnancy. After Dall's dad,Adam, died from cobra's bite when hunting, the mother was so depressed. She had no one to help her. Dall was her first baby. Due to her husband's demise, she had to fend for herself and she ended up over working herself. She developed several complications during her delivery.

Adan's eldest brother, Dall's uncle, Mr. Aba ,took care of Dall till he grew to his youth. Till Dall turned nineteen, he didn't know that Mr. Aba wasn't his biological father. But one day, when Dall was very happy after he won the award of the best male singer in his school,Mr. Aba decided to tell him the truth he deserved to know. Mr. Aba said to Dall, "My son, you have done well and we will celebrate you specially, but I wished your parents were here to witness their son's great achievement but I know that wherever they are, their souls will be happy for you." Dall left the human realm, he felt like he was floating in the air and all he could hear was an echo of the saying "your parents!!!!!" Mr. Aba had to tap Dall several times before he regained himself.

Dall was downed from what he heard as Mr. Aba told him everything. Mr. Aba encouraged him and said to him,"My son,I am not telling you this for you to be sad or feel like I don't love. My family loves you so much,we take you as our own. So, what's left for you now is to make a good decision for yourself. Plan your life and be successful, people will never remember you are an orphan". These words touched Dall as he brazen up and consoled himself.

Source
Dall was a good singer. He could form songs and sweet rhymes from any group of words given to him. He was a social type. When Dall finished his secondary education, he decided to venture into the music industry. Mr. Aba had hoped that after Dall's secondary education,he would become a farmer. But never knew Dall had greater dreams. When Dall told his uncle about his dream career, the kind man supported him with all his heart.

Because of Dall's dream career, he was allowed to socialize with people, attend clubs and other events centers to expose him to popular artists who are already in the industry. Sometimes Dall would perform at shows when given the opportunity but was often viewed as a third rate singer.

Dall never minded people who mocked him and criticized his songs but pushed on. One day, luck showed on Dall, as he was performing in a show, he didn't know that a popular musician was there. After his performance, he was sent for and when he met the musician, he was shocked because he never expected such famous person to be there. This musician trained Dall from being a third rate singer to one of the best upcoming singer.
It was a very big turnaround for Dall as this changed the story of his life and Mr Aba's family story.

Hello @captainman. Your story is uplifting about the orphan's sad beginnings to his ventures through life in which he succeeded with help from a family and his own singing talent. The lesson from this story is to continue pursuing your dreams.

Thanks so much for supporting me. In return, I'd like to bring to your attention that you write well. Perhaps with help from Grammarly your writing will become even more precise and readable with a few corrections in spacing after punctuation. This is only a suggestion.

Thanks for sharing this story. Take care.
