Sapien Loop Character’s Journeys So Far (Books One, Two, and Short Stories) - Part Two: E to H
Earl Carvaress
Earl Carvaress was Pardi Carvaress’ father. Unlike Pardi, he was very fond of Sapiens. He even promoted them to high positions in the Carvaress Company. Earl even helped two Sapiens girls, Milly and Lily, find a new family after their parents had been killed. Unfortunately, Earl died in an accident while repairing a damaged pipe.
Ebirb
Ebrib was the chief of Carrington District, and after winning the election, he became the first governor of the district. He had a close relationship with the Locum Alset but was less fond of the rest of the Alset family. He was also friends with Chief Sanguine. Ebrib worked closely with both Sanguine and Locum in the investigation of the events at the Alset facility in the North.
After the massacre at the stadium, Ebirb became the warden of Carrington City. Carrington had been turned into a giant prison, and he was in charge of it. Around two decades later, the enforcers attacked Carrington City to wipe out the Alset family and their employees. Tiberius was supposed to give Ebirb half an hour’s notice, but he did not. This caused many of Ebirb’s guards to be killed. Ebirb managed to escape the city, but the guards executed him after he angrily complained to them.
Elder Bisko
Elder Bisko was one of the leaders of the Bramley tribe, which fought against the Sentray at the beginning of the twelfth loop. Elder Bisko played a key role in planning their fight against the Sentray. Sadly, Elder Bisko died during the Sentray’s attack on his tribe. However, his sacrifice played a huge part in turning the tide against the Sentray.
Elder Charley
Elder Charley was one of the leaders of the Bramley tribe, which fought against the Sentray at the beginning of the twelfth loop.
Elder Leo
Elder Leo was one of the leaders of the Bramley tribe, which fought against the Sentray at the beginning of the twelfth loop. Elder Leo played a key role in planning their fight against the Sentray. Sadly, Elder Leo was badly injured during the Sentray’s attack on his tribe. Not long afterwards, he succumbed to these injuries. His sacrifice played a huge part in turning the tide against the Sentray. His son, Derek, continued the fight against the Sentray.
Emily
Emily was the technician driving the vehicle that was taking Daily, Yassmay, and Orcilla to the campsite to the west of Downs. After driving six hours, she took a break and let Daily take over the driving. Daily used this opportunity to escape out of the convoy of vehicles.
Two days later, an enforcer flying vehicle caught up with them. The enforcers caused the vehicle Emily was in to crash. Sadly, Emily died in the crash.
Emma
Emma was the daughter of Janey, a genetically modified Linap. Emma was part of the back breeding programme. She was strong and healthy and suffered none of the illnesses of the second generation of modified Linap. Emma and Janey relocated to the West District House of Divine Knowledge to seek protection.
When Emma was older, she moved to the new Adoy Region. Jimbo, another back-bred Linap, joined her. A few years after moving to Adoy, Emma married Jimbo.
Enforcer Driver
The enforcer driver transported Sylvie, a genetically modified Linap, and her back-bred son, Tony, to the West District House of Divine Knowledge.
Enforcer Engineer
The larger enforcer flying vehicles often carry an engineer. One such engineer was aboard one of the flying vehicles in the Coastilly Region. He suffered from some sort of nervous breakdown when he was unable to regain control of the flying vehicle. When Jennifer informed all those in the flying vehicles they were going to be taken to Cellrebrum for rehabilitation, he completely broke down.
Enforcer Pilots
Each enforcer flying vehicle had a pilot. Two of these pilots are briefly mentioned. One of these pilots was involved in the killing of Demarcus’ family and David. Another pilot was with the engineer who had a nervous breakdown.
Eric
Eric was the recruit instructed to steal from the other recruits as part of a challenge. Arville and Eugene identified Eric as the culprit. Eric confirmed that Arville’s account of events was more accurate than Eugene’s. However, Arville had threatened to punch him if he did not support him. At the end of the course, Eric apologised to Eugene. He explained why he was not honest.
Erin
Erin was Chief Sanguine’s wife. They met when Sanguine, who was a boy at the time, rescued her from two boys who were attacking her. After that, they became close and eventually fell in love.
After Sanguine had become chief, they married. Shortly afterwards, Erin gave birth to twin boys. Tragedy struck when a group of disgruntled miners attacked them. One of the twins was killed, and Erin was badly injured.
Erin’s relationship with Sanguine became strained as Sanguine had become obsessed with revenge. Many years later, it was revealed that the twin had not been killed but taken prisoner instead. The reunion was short-lived, as the twin who had been held hostage all those years attempted to poison Sanguine, Erin, and her other son, Tiberius.
Tiberius uncovered this plot, and to Erin’s dismay, he killed his twin brother. Erin was devastated by what her husband and son had become. The combination of depression and the effects of her injuries caused her to become ill.
Tiberius began to show disdain towards Erin because of the attention she was receiving from his father and because she was not born of noble blood. One night he decided that his guards would kill her in the most horrendous way. He did so in front of his father.
Etnad
Etnad was the Head Philosopher of the West District House of Divine Knowledge in ancient Sapey. He showed strong opposition to the genetic modification of their Linap species.
When Tiberius became governor, Etnad was threatened into changing the practices and teaching of the House of Divine Knowledge. The genetically modified Linap were taught they were superior to the previous generation of unmodified Linap. This led to much of the anger and hatred towards the unmodified Linap when the second generation of modified Linap were born sick.
The unmodified Linap were not just considered inferior but also a threat. Etnad gained greater influence once Tiberius was removed from power. Etnad and the House of Divine Knowledge backed a new governor named Randall. Etnad exerted his influence through Randall. Etnad controlled Randall for two four-year terms before he died of old age.
Eugene
Eugene was born in the Phoenix Region. He was the son of Arthur and Sophie and had a younger brother, Freddy. From a young age, Eugene dreamed about being a super sleuth. He may not have been academically smart, but he was very perceptive. His keen observations earned him a spot in the top enforcer training course held in the Cellrebrum Region. Eugene truly excelled in this course and graduated as the top recruit. He was fast-tracked to his position as Head Enforcer in the Downs Region.
Eugene’s offering of fruit outside of the Downs Region played a major role in deterring the Sentray from attacking. As a result, Downs was the only region untouched by the Sentray.
Eugene and Denise led an expedition to the chamber in Location 6. The Linap in the pod inside the chamber mysteriously went missing. Eugene and his team were unable to recover the missing Linap but uncovered important evidence that hinted at how he was taken.
In the post-collapse era of Sapey, Eugene played an important role in the leadership team. He converted the region hotel into a prison for Lily and Louis. He was part of the negotiations regarding the cure and the underground Linap building project. He organised a team to bring back a generator to keep Orcille’s life support machine powered. However, he was also manipulated by Lily to install cameras to search for suspicious characters. When Vulay was arrested, Eugene became the only Head Enforcer of Downs.
Evangeline
Evangeline was Marlon’s eldest daughter. She was wheelchair-bound. She was afflicted with a bone disease common in second-generation genetically modified Linap. Despite her disability, she was a happy child.
Flint
Flint was the deputy leader of the West Tribes. He encountered Denise, Daily, Freddy, and Louis when they were defrosting the Linap at Location 10. He was angry that they were taking their ancestors. He was even angrier when Louis flew off with Linap from Locations 4 and 8. He decided to detain Denise, Daily, and Freddy until his ancestors were returned.
When Flint realised that his ancestors were being taken good care of, he calmed down considerably. Flint and his team in return took good care of Denise, Daily, and Freddy. He even became friends with Denise. When Flint was contacted by his brother Miro, he let Denise, Daily, Freddy, and L10 Linap leave for the Downs Region.
Fluffy Lily the Goat Sape
Fluffy Lily, as she was named in ‘Hamlet to the Rescue’, was Scott’s best friend and pet Sape. She was a small Sape with very fluffy fur. She was considerably smaller than the more common Sape, who were bred for their meat. Sapes like Lily were bred for their fluffy fur. Scott helped maintain and look after her fluffy fur, which he cut shorter in the summer months. Fluffy Lily became very close friends with Hamlet after their rescue mission to free the trapped Sapes.
Freddy
Freddy was Eugene’s younger brother. Like Eugene, Freddy was a mosaic Trisomy-21 Sapien. He relocated to the Downs Region a few weeks after Eugene, where he worked as a mechanic and maintenance worker. He helped Denise and Daily defrost the frozen Linap.
Genève
Genève was the Deputy Head Theologist of the Adoy Region House of Divine Knowledge. At the market, Genève helped intervene to save Hamlet’s life. She used the House of Divine Knowledge to buy a small section of the Agricultural Zone for Hamlet to live in.
Years later, Genève granted Orcille an audience at the House of Knowledge to present the views and opinions of the Inquisitives to the residents of Adoy.
Gettering
Gettering replaced Shamrock as the Head Theologist of the West District in ancient Sapey. During the collapse of Sapey, he was also appointed as one of the twelve governors. He supported the divine law that the Sapiens would not be slaves.
Gilling/L4
Gilling was Portia Alset’s youngest daughter. She was frozen in the pod at Location 4.
Ginger
Ginger was a singer and a performer. She was best friends with Saliyah. Ginger adopted the two genetically modified boys, Duffo and Marlon, after they were rescued from the North District.
When Tiberius became the governor of the Capital District, Ginger was promoted to manage the entertainment action team. It consisted of the most famous entertainers of that time. The team worked together to entertain the Linap and were very successful in doing so. They also played an important role in promoting propaganda that kept Tiberius in power for around twenty years.
After Tiberius disappeared, the genetic problems of the new Linap had become obvious. She worked with Marlon on a back-breeding programme in an attempt to save the next generation of new Linap. The leadership team of the first generation of new Linap strongly opposed such a programme, as they believed this would downgrade their genes. They believed they could solve the genetic problems through other means. Therefore, the back-breeding programme was shut down.
Ginger attempted to rescue the mothers and their babies. Sadly, enforcers intercepted them. All the mothers and babies were killed. Ginger was badly injured from the attack. She was never the same again. A few years later, she died.
Governor Citamgarp
Governor Citamgarp was affiliated with the Business Sector. He was one of the most prominent governors during the period called ‘The Great Divide’. Regions either overwhelmingly supported the Business Sector or the House of Divine Knowledge.
The divide was tearing the country apart. Governor Citamgarp, along with Governor Rerac and Rezif, the head of the Economic Institute, came up with a plan to solve this problem. The plan involved relocating residents to different regions as part of a work programme. The relocation was supposed to resolve worker shortages as well as reintegrate the population.
The relocation plan failed, and the divide lasted another twelve years. Eventually balance was naturally restored as perceptions changed over time and residents relocated themselves based on limited opportunities within their own regions.
Governor Joshua
Governor Joshua was affiliated with the House of Divine Knowledge. He appeared on Charlene’s television show to discuss prenatal termination of babies. The debate did not go well for Joshua.
Three days later, he was summoned to the Capital Temple by the Head Philosophers and Head Theologists of the Capital and West. They expressed their dissatisfaction with him by killing. They had him replaced by a Linap who shapeshifted into his form.
Governor Rerac
Governor Rerac was affiliated with the House of Divine Knowledge. He was one of the most prominent governors during the period called ‘The Great Divide’. See Governor Citamgarp for his story.
Grezelle
Grezelle was the youngest daughter of Hershel Alset. She was one of the Alset family members who chose to live underground rather than be frozen. She became the leader of the southern underground city.
Guards
The Guards’ role was to maintain law and order. They predated the enforcers. They were also given the role of protecting the district’s leaders. After the enforcers took over from the guards, they were mostly just hired by the Business Sector to protect their leaders and their interests.
Hadrian
Hadrian was the eldest son of Locum Alset and the father of Demadrian Alset. In his younger years, he was put in charge of the Alset operations in the North District. Mining was a key part of the Alset operations. However, the Alset mining practices were unsafe. There were frequent cave-ins, and miners often lost their lives.
Hadrian wanted to distance himself from the disasters, but his younger brother did not allow him to do that. He insisted he informed the families of the deceased. On one occasion, he visited an old lady who had lost her daughter and son-in-law. She was carrying a baby who had blue eyes.
Hadrian panicked and took the baby off her. He claimed she was sick and needed medical attention. He was panicked because Locum was the only Linap with blue eyes. The blue eyes were an indication of a genetic condition that resulted in exceptionally high intelligence but at the expense of poor health. The baby was a threat, and Hadrian believed he had to dispose of her. However, he could not bring himself to do so. Therefore, he dropped her off at the orphanage, where he instructed that she be hidden from the world.
The next day, he confronted Chief Sanguine about the safety problems regarding the mines and the missing funds from the orphanage. The meeting did not go well for him, as Sanguine was able to bully him into backing down.
Over the years, Hadrian obtained a reputation for being weak and unable to stand up to others. This was bad for him, as he was expected to take over the role of head of the family as well as head of the business. Instead of following the tradition of handing leadership to the next most senior member of the family, Locum broke with tradition and let the other family members decide who would lead them once he was gone. This enraged Hadrian, but eventually he accepted the will of his father.
Not long after Locum died, the stadium disaster occurred. The blame was firmly directed at the Alset family. In defence of his family, Demadrian in particular, Hadrian confessed to causing the disaster. He was initially sentenced to death, but his sentence was reduced to life in prison. He was secretly moved around so his family never knew where he was.
Around twenty years on, in the final days of Tiberius’ rule, Reveileb informed Demadrian that Hadrian was being held in Cellrebrum. Just before Cellrebrum was attacked, Demadrian rescued Hadrian from the prison he was held in.
Demadrian wanted Hadrian to be frozen along with many of the other Alset family members. Hadrian declined; he insisted he live out the rest of his life with his wife in one of the underground cities.
On his way to the underground city, Hadrian encountered the badly injured Hat Lady. He helped her to her pod, where he froze her. The Hat Lady was the baby he left at the orphanage. Hadrian felt he had finally made up for his past sins. Hadrian was now remembered for his courage and not his weakness.
Hamish
Hamish was the younger brother of Hadrian Alset. He worked under his brother in the North District. He eventually moved to join the rest of the Alset family in Carrington City, where he started his family. He had only one child named Jenna, but he also helped raise Hadrian’s son, Demadrian. Jenna and Demadrian became very close. They were more like brother and sister than cousins. Hamish kept his distance from the North District, but he did help a child in the orphanage be adopted; this child was Joan.
Hamish planned to be frozen along with the ten other volunteers. However, when Carrington City was attacked. Hamish was killed in a tunnel beneath the city while trying to escape. The tunnel collapsed on top of him. At the time, he was in a fight with Tiberius. Tiberius escaped the worst part of the collapse and survived. The others had already left the area and were unaware that Hamish had been killed. Tiberius followed the instructions in Hamish’s vehicle and froze himself instead.
A thousand years later, when Tiberius was defrosted, he pretended to be Hamish. The others did not realise he was not Hamish, as they had lost their memories. Tiberius’ memories were restored with the help of Jennifer.
Hamlet
Hamlet was a large, powerful Sape. David and Denise rescued her from the market. Hamlet was granted protection by the House of Divine Knowledge; she was given her own area to live in.
During the riots in Adoy, Hamlet escaped with David, Denise, and the Bramley family. Hamlet played a crucial role in helping the others find food. She rooted in the wastelands and gathered hundreds of pineapples in the Central Agricultural Zone. Hamlet heroically intervened when a Sentray attacked Denise and Orcille. Hamlet stood in the Sentray’s path until he turned and fled.
Hamlet relocated to Downs, where she became good friends with Scott and his goat Sape Lily. Hamlet also became friends with the twins and Sapiod X. Yassme built a device that enabled her to convert her thoughts into words. Hamlet contributed to Downs by transporting pineapples and other fruit from the Central Agricultural Zone to the Downs Region.
When Tiberius took over the region, Hamlet joined Team Foodies to collect and deliver food to the Downs residents who were sent to work on the new settlements.
Hannah
Hannah was one of the first genetically modified babies born in the North District. Sadly, she died when the bus she was in crashed off the side of a cliff.
Haspar
Haspar was Locum Alset’s youngest son. He died in an explosion when the enforcers attacked Carrington City.
Hat Lady
The Hat Lady was born with the name Noosa. Unfortunately, she was taken from her grandmother before she learnt of her name. Her grandmother was taking care of her because her parents had died in a cave-in in the mine they were working in.
Hadrian Alset took Noosa from her grandmother, claiming she was ill because of her blue eyes. He was actually afraid of her potential intelligence and possible connection to his family. He intended to kill her, but he could not go through with it. Instead, he took her to the local orphanage, where she was called NB14572. He instructed her to remain there for life and never be adopted.
NB14572 made several friends. Two of her closest friends were NB14583 and NB14564. A couple from Carrington City adopted NB14583. They named her Joan. NB14564 remained with NB14572.
Life became considerably harder. Tiberius, son of the chief, forced the children to fight each other. This was often to the death. He wanted the strongest children to be his future guards. NB14572 stood up to Tiberius and humiliated his guards; this enraged him.
NB14572 and NB14562 decided to escape the orphanage and the North District. However, they were caught in a carriage by the head trainer. He handed them over to Tiberius. Tiberius, as punishment, ordered NB14564 to have his legs chopped off. This caused him to die slowly. NB14572 was taken back to the orphanage.
NB14572 escaped again. She was caught in the company of another girl, Noilemac Carvaress. NB14572 shapeshifted herself and Noilemac so that they swapped appearances. Noilemac was mistakenly taken to the orphanage. Noilemac claimed she was not NB14572.
Tiberius had her killed to see if she would shapeshift into NB14572, but she did not. Therefore, he knew he had the wrong girl. He went to the Carvaress Mansion to inform her parents and catch NB14572. He ended up burning the mansion down and killing her parents. NB14572 managed to escape.
NB14572 hid in the mountains for years. She eventually left the mountains to work at the Alset facility in the North District as a technician. Her path for revenge on the chiefs and Alset family, who she blamed for hardships imposed on her and her friends and who ultimately killed her family, had begun.
NB14572 was able to blend in well for years. During her time with the Alset Company, she worked closely with Demadrian Alset. Demadrian was attracted to her because she was different from the other technicians. NB14572, who was now known as the Hat Lady because of the variety of different hats she wore, was a fascinating and frustrating enigma to Demadrian. She never kept the same form, and she refused to tell him her real name.
While working with Demadrian, she found out about the blue juice that enhanced his intelligence. The Hat Lady tried the blue juice, but it had no effect on her because she already had the intelligence-enhancing elements in her genetics. She took the blue juice to James Yensid, the owner of Yensid Media Company, which had a monopoly on entertainment. She wanted James to use his company to change public perception against the chiefs and Alset Company. The path to do this was democracy.
The Hat Lady managed to persuade James to trick Chief Waldo into calling for elections. He did so by convincing him if he did not, he would be overthrown. Waldo used his influence as chief of the Capital District to pressure all the chiefs of the other districts to also hold elections. James used his company and his enhanced intelligence to convince the residents of all the regions to vote for his candidates in the elections. He succeeded; almost all the chiefs were replaced with entertainers. Only the chief in the North and the chief of Carrington City, the home of the Alset family, remained.
Next, the Hat Lady targeted the Alset family. When James’ chosen candidate, Ryan, had taken power, the Hat Lady went to work changing the currency. She aimed to devalue the wealth the Alset family held in gold coins in their vault. She used the newly appointed head of the Economic Institute to replace the gold coins with much cheaper metals as the new currency.
The Hat Lady used James to expose the experiments they were conducting in the North on babies as well as the blue juice they used to give themselves an unfair advantage over everyone else.
Residents all over the continent were furious with the Alset family and demanded that all their operations in the North be immediately halted. Locum Alset forced his son, Hadrian, to sell all of their assets in the North. This essentially ended the North District. This sale occurred before the new coins entered circulation. Therefore, all the gold they received from the sale was swapped for the coins made of the cheaper metals.
Chief Sanguine from the North District went to the Capital District to give up his position as governor/chief. In exchange, he managed to obtain the new position of Head Enforcer for his son, Tiberius. The Hat Lady did not know Tiberius was still alive; she believed he had died in the Carvaress Mansion fire. The Hat Lady found out about the new appointment and demanded to know who this Head Enforcer was. James had grown tired of her and had her arrested for impersonating him.
The next Pound Ball Grand Final had arrived. James had filled the stadium to well beyond capacity. Tiberius took advantage of the potential dangers of overcrowding. He caused with acid from the sprinklers a stampede in the stadium. This resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of fans.
This triggered a massive chain reaction. James Yensid was arrested and immediately lost all his power. Hadrian Alset, who accepted the blame to protect his family, was also arrested. Tiberius took the opportunity to gain power. The Hat Lady, who was still in prison, found out but was powerless to do anything. Eventually, she escaped prison and was able to hide in Carrington City with Demadrian, who had forgiven her for her attack on his family.
Tiberius had gained full control of Sapey. He was extremely well protected, and he had the support of the vast majority of Sapiens. Benny, a technician and a friend of the family, proposed the idea of reaching out to former governor Ryan. The Hat Lady liked the idea. This was because Tiberius obtained his initial legitimacy from Ryan’s support. If they could convince Ryan that Tiberius was evil, Ryan could help remove his legitimacy.
The Hat Lady and Demadrian set off to Ryan’s home to speak with him. They arrived too late; the enforcers had already killed him. Sanguine had anticipated that the Hat Lady would seek him out. The enforcers had remained. They were waiting for the Hat Lady. When she and Demadrian arrived, the enforcers tried to kill her and believed they succeeded when they shot her. However, she survived, but she was badly injured and was unable to walk.
The Hat Lady’s chance to stop Tiberius had passed. She spent the next two decades hiding in Carrington City. There was little pressure on her, as Tiberius believed she was dead. Carrington City and the Alset family were back in danger again. Tiberius ordered the destruction of Carrington City and all in it. The Hat Lady managed to escape in the tunnels beneath the city. She was badly injured. Fortunately for her, she encountered Hadrian. He helped her reach her designated cryogenic pod at Location 1.
A thousand years later, Denise discovered her. Initially, she did not defrost her, but that changed when the Linap at Location 6 was defrosted. Hat Lady was now referred to as L1 Linap because she was found in the chamber at Location 1. Like all the other defrosted Linap, she had lost her memory. Yassmay conducted genetic tests on all the frozen Linap. She found they were mostly close relatives, but the Hat Lady was a more distant relative.
L1 Linap soon became interested in helping the Downs residents with their health crisis. She wanted to become involved in the negotiations to obtain the cure for them. Without knowing who he was, L1 Linap took a disliking to Tiberius, who was pretending to be Hamish Alset. She wanted the Downs residents to obtain the cure without having to give up their region or become slaves to the underground Linap. Unfortunately, they were forced to accept Tiberius’ offer when Orcilla needed urgent medical attention.
Tiberius planned to give all the defrosted Linap the cure to restore their memories. L1 Linap did not like that idea and decided to go missing.
Head Enforcer (Adoy)
The Head Enforcer of Adoy took charge of the kidnapping of the two girls. He joined the investigation late, as he was in the Capital Region. Within a short time, he believed he had solved the case. He believed his enforcers arrested the ‘perpetrators’, and he believed the girls had been returned to their families.
One of the prisoners, Orcille, had been badly assaulted. He rushed him to the medical centre for treatment. Orcille’s father, Pardi Carvaress, demanded the enforcer who had assaulted his son be punished. The Head Enforcer sent the perpetrator, Arville, to the Cellrebrum Rehabilitation Centre to be secretly evaluated.
As a reward for his years of service, the Head Enforcer of the Adoy Region was promoted to Head Enforcer of the Lake Region, a large region.
Head Enforcer (Capital)
The Head Enforcer of the Capital Region was in charge of Lily’s execution. He gave Lily a chance to renounce her claims about the Linap’s secret identity. To everyone’s shock, she reaffirmed her position. The Head Enforcer had no choice but to execute her. Pardi was livid about this decision.
Pardi invited the Head Enforcer and the enforcers that carried out his orders to his office building for a meal. The Head Enforcer believed Pardi was happy with the execution. Pardi drugged the Head Enforcer’s drink and drugged the desserts of the enforcers. This caused the Head Enforcer to hallucinate and paralysed the enforcers so that they could not move from their chairs.
The Head Enforcer hallucinated that he was at a shooting gallery and that the drugged, paralysed enforcers were targets. He went on to kill all of them. Pardi captured the killings on his cameras and used the evidence to blackmail the Head Enforcer.
When the riots broke out, the Head Enforcer led all the enforcers to quell the riots. Jennifer took control over their hi-tech and powerful flying vehicles against them. The Head Enforcer was shot and killed by them.
Head Enforcer (Sapia, New Linap)
During this period, the Head Enforcer of the Capital District was in charge of all the enforcers in Sapia. During the short story, Bramley Gene, Governor Maskameera, wanted the Head Enforcer to investigate why the child arriving in West City was healthy when all other children were ill.
He ordered the West City enforcers to storm the House of Divine Knowledge, claiming he suspected them of harbouring criminals. He found the child he was looking for and his mother. He arrested his mother and took the child to the medical centre for tests. He believed he might have been a product of back-breeding. Governor Marlon arrived in time to sort out the situation, and the child and his mother were released and returned to the House of Divine Knowledge.
Head Enforcer (West)
The Head Enforcer of the West Region was responsible for Lily’s arrest. He was also in charge of the investigation into Leanne’s death, which led to the arrest of Jaslene and Merida.
Head Enforcer (Capital, forty years earlier)
The Head Enforcer of the Capital Region investigated the deaths of Maggie (Milly) and (Lily) Lula’s parents. He also relocated Lily’s adopted parents to protect them from the Business Sector.
Head Philosopher (West, Down But Not Out)
The Head Philosopher of the West Region prior to the opening of the Downs Region was one of the most dangerous Head Philosophers in Sapey’s history. He strongly believed he had a divine connection to the higher power. He desired to bathe and feed on the blood of babies. He also had a strange mystic power. He was able to sense certain things.
The Head Philosopher died when he was buried alive in manure in a temple outside of the West Region. However, his story was not complete. He was cloned by the underground cult. His clone, Angelo, became their High Philosopher. He had a strange connection with his original version. This enabled him to access memories as well as peek into the outside world.
Head Teacher (Virtual World)
She was the head teacher that Eugene met in the virtual world. She revealed important information to him about the virtual case he was working on.
Head Theologist (West, Down But Not Out)
The Head Theologist of the West Region worked closely with the Head Philosopher. However, he was clearly subordinate to him. He shared many of the same sentiments and views but was a little less fanatical. He was also buried alive in manure. His body was never recovered.
Head Trainer of the North Guards
The head trainer of the north guards was the former captain of the guards before Tiberius took over. The head trainer helped improve the discipline of the guards and build loyalty towards Tiberius. The head trainer prevented the two orphans, NB14572 and NB14564, from escaping.
Head Trainer in the Cellrebrum Enforcer Training Programme
The head trainer was in charge of an elite enforcer training programme. In the programme, he met Eugene, whom he took a liking to because of his determination and personality.
Hector
Hector was Marlon Carvaress’ son. He was a big fan of Waldo.
Henry Kosh
In ancient Sapey, Henry Kosh was the president of the Aivr Company. He was also appointed as a governor during the collapse of Sapey.
Hermon/L10
Hermon was the eldest son of Phallia Alset, who was the eldest daughter of Locum and Tarrina Alset. He was known as the troublemaker of the family. He attempted to rig the Alset asset auction, and he printed the provocative flyer for Sanguine’s election campaign in the North Region.
Hermon might have been odd, but he was also a genius. He invented the cryogenic pods that were used to freeze the volunteers for a thousand years. Hermon froze himself at Location 10. While he was being defrosted by Daily, the underground Linap, led by Flint, intervened. He was later flown to the Downs Region to join his family members.
Hershel
Hershel was Locum Alset’s third eldest son. He chose to live underground rather than be frozen. He became the leader of the northern underground city.
Hershel Jr
Hershel Jr was the eldest son of Hershel Alset. He took over as the leader of the northern underground city when his father died.
