From Engagement to Newborn

Lifelong photography clients are the very best. They value capturing the memories and are willing to have you regularly capture all the moments with them. Katie and Tyler started with us for engagement photos, then it transitioned like many families into wedding, maternity, newborn, family. I have a feeling they will continue that tradition :)

We arrived in their home to capture their newborn session, a quiet, peaceful place for a new mother and newborn to easily transition into some photos. It's a great way to make the chaos of a new family, new schedule, and new addition feel comfortable and inevitably we get the best photos during those moments.

As I was moving about their home to take photos, I noticed large prints in black and white on their walls. Nothing will make you feel better than to see your work printed, framed, and showcased in a families home. I couldn't wipe the huge smile off my face as I was reminded once again that these types of clients are the exact reason I love this type of work. It's very personal for the clients, and I couldn't be more grateful they share these moments with us.

Repeat business is often the best. It's nice that these folks are able to keep using you. We had a friend do our wedding photos and those turned out decent. Then she did our inlaws and she went a little nuts. They finally got the originals, but there were a couple pictures of my wife that she edited to put devil horns on her. It was unfortunate for my wife's brother and his new wife.
