Christmas Moments 2024

We delayed our Christmas just a bit as our youngest son was coming in from Iowa on Saturday, so we just waited a bit. I'm making a more conscious effort to capture and document more moments...for nothing other than our own memories. But from another perspective, I've been heavily focused more lately on photography, and it's time to switch back to capturing more video and honing those skills in preparation for 2025. A simple and easy way to do that is to capture more video from the personal perspective and just put together simple videos to exercise those muscles of creativity.

Here is a little video of our day celebrating with friends and family shot on Sony A9III. Next up I think I'll shoot a similar short using something like an iPhone 15 Pro in their log profile. The mobile phones of today are pretty remarkable, so you don't need an expensive camera to have some fun capturing your memories.
