Splinterlands art contest / Rexxie (ink drawing)

Greetings friends,
I want to welcome you all to my splinterlands art contest post and this week i would be exploring a character among the splinterlands card named Rexxie. I spent a long time trying to select the perfect character and how i could best represent it i come up with this. Rexxie is a special character in splinterlands cause to me it reminds me of the early age when dinosaurs work the earth, they are really smart and fast. Putting all this into my drawing i made this happen.
This one all started from the selection of the character then i made a sketch of the character i wanted to draw to get the skeleton of the work or how i wanted it to turn out before adding colours with my coloured pen. First with a black pen which brought out the outline of the image, i added the red eye balls for a little drama in the eyes to make it look fierce before adding some colors. The colours i chose was based on the dark green body and light green stomach.

So the materials i used are as followed
- black pen
- red pen
- two different shades of green pens
- a 2B pencil for sketching
- an A4 paper
- finally my hands 😂😂😂
Drawing is one of my favourite part of the week and its amazing to find something this amazing to do and this contest has given me the drive i need. I hope you all love this drawing please share your point of view with me by dropping a comment.
