Visiting the Samudra Pasai Islamic Museum: "a very interesting history to learn about"
Hello all my friends
Museums are one of the places to see some very valuable collections, both historical and otherwise.
My friends!!
On this occasion, I want to share some images I captured over the past few months while visiting a museum in North Aceh, specifically in GUDO'NG. My friends and I visited the museum and took several images to share with this extraordinary community.
The museum is called the Samudra Pasai Islamic Museum, and it houses several historical collections from the golden age of Islam in Samudra Pasai.
Okay, my friends, keep following this post, because below are some of the images I managed to capture.
I took the picture starting from the trip where during the trip I had the chance to take several pictures there and during the trip we also had the chance to fill up the motorbike's fuel at one of the gas stations because filling it there was more economical than filling it up at a retailer on the side of the road.
After a rather tiring journey, we finally arrived at our destination. I immediately took a moment to take some pictures. Hopefully, these images will convey to all of you in this extraordinary community the place I and my friends visited.
My friends!!
At first glance, this museum resembles a mosque, as it features several towering minarets, almost identical to the architecture of mosques in my area.
After entering, I also had the opportunity to see several collections of relics from the Samudra Pasai Islamic Kingdom, including the CUPENG.
The cupeng serves as a genital covering for toddler girls.
Then I also saw PATAM DHOE there,
Which is a traditional wedding attire, patam dhoe means forehead covering.
And there are many other collections there which are relics from the kingdom era which I cannot possibly mention one by one.
My friends!!!
I think if you ever visit Aceh, I highly recommend you stop by this place. There are so many historical relics from the Samudra Pasai Islamic Kingdom, where we can learn about the glory days of the Islamic kingdom in the past.
Okay, friends, those are some of the pictures and short articles from me for this meeting. I hope you all enjoyed and were entertained by what I shared.
That's all for now, see you next time.
