Good evening, my friends, wherever you are. I hope you are all healthy and happy so you can carry out your activities as usual. I hope you all have a great day.

This time, I want to share some photos I took while traveling with friends a few days ago in Lhokseumawe, a city in Aceh.

So, a few days ago, my friends and I traveled to Lhokseumawe, and I personally took some time to take some photos to share with this travel community.

My friends
Lhokseumawe is a city located in Aceh. It was formerly the capital of the North Aceh district. However, after the expansion of the province, the capital of North Aceh moved to Lhoksukon, and Lhokseumawe became one of the cities in Aceh.

These are some photos I took when I first entered the city.

When I looked around me, I could conclude that on the journey I found many stretches of rice fields both to the left and to the right of me on the journey.

Then, my attention was drawn to several buildings in the middle of the rice fields. I felt they were uninhabited, as at first glance, I could see no signs of people inside.

These are some of the photos I took. I find it a bit unfortunate because Lhokseumawe is a city in Aceh where many uninhabited buildings are still located along the roadside. This is a very unfortunate fact, as the city is the center of the region's economy.

When my friends and I arrived in the city center, I saw a simple town with smooth traffic and cleanliness that I would rate 9/10.

Friends,
The weather in the city is very sunny, and this was once the economic center of Aceh province. Lhokseumawe was famous for its natural gas. Who doesn't know PT. Arun, one of the largest natural resource management companies in Indonesia at the time?

This is a glimpse of the city through the pictures I took.

I found several offices in the city and then took pictures of them, not forgetting one of the mosque buildings which looked very magnificent on the side of the road, which also didn't escape my cell phone camera.

Our journey then stopped at one of the city's bridges. The atmosphere was so peaceful that I decided to take some pictures. The streets were so quiet, I felt like if I were to color the picture, I could say "Lhokseumawe, one of Aceh's ghost towns."

My friend
Then I saw a becak (rickshaw), a typical vehicle that often graces the streets of this city. A becak is a motorcycle modified to carry more people. Here are a few quick pictures to show what this vehicle looks like.

Aceh is predominantly Muslim, with over 98% of the population being Muslim, so finding a mosque isn't difficult in my region.

This is one mosque that amazed me and caught my attention, prompting me to take some photos while exploring the city. From a distance, I saw its towering minaret. Furthermore, the clear weather added to its beauty. Here are some of the photos I took.

Okay, friends, those are some of the images in my blog this time about one of the cities in Aceh. I hope you all enjoy and enjoy what I share. See you in my next post.
