THE CRAZY KIND OF FAITH
In case you did not know, I'm Nigerian and Nigeria is a multi cultural country with over four hundred ethnic groups. That basically means we value culture a lot.
My little community had a court case that had been ongoing for almost a year. We were pushed to a corner and it looked like all hope was lost. The case was a fifty- fifty sort of thing and no one could tell what would happen next.
But there comes my older sister on the day of the final court hearing. An hour before the main verdict, she told me to make a victory outfit for her. I was surprised because WE MIGHT NOT WIN!
But she said she had faith and that the outfit would be a symbol of it. Well I honestly thought she was crazy but as a Nigerian I kept my opinions to myself o.
There was an ankara fabric that the chief of my community had picked out for victorious events and celebration. But he had said earlier that no one should wear theirs because they couldn't tell if we would win or not. We would wear it the next day for thanksgiving, but my sister with strong faith said she must wear hers because she knows we would win. So I got to work.
I'm not gonna lie, I almost sewed my hands while trying to make this. I was rushing like someone was chasing Me 😂😂
This is the fastest work I've ever done and I'm glad it came out great despite how I was rushing to make it.
Victory is always sure for those who put their trust in God, and are on the right side of the law. Congratulations 🎊 and please always be careful while sewing
Victory with a touch of fashion, an amazing combination, I understand how the rush work made you feel, thank God you didn't sew your hand
I am glad to hear of the great faith your sister had and that even though she made you run for her job in the end you both sang victory.
Glad you could pull off sewing a dress for your sister on short notice, well done ❤️
Thank you
