HOW TO MAKE A SIMPLE DRESS WITH NOTHING BUT YOUR SEWING MACHINE AND ๐Ÿงต

Today I'm gonna be showing you the simple steps to making this beautiful dress๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

The camera isn't high quality and it isn't doing justice to the dress.
But when you make yours following this simple steps, then you'll see the beauty for yourself through your own natural lenses.

Step one

You're gonna need a tape, at least 3yards of materials, thread, chalk, scissors and a sewing machine.

  1. Spread out your material and mark the body measurement on the fabric using your chalk.

Pls forgive my camera quality for my phone knows not what it does๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜‚

In the image above, I have marked out the body measurement as you can see clearly.

  1. Measure the hal length of the customer, from the half length to the hip depth is 10inches ( for people with hips above 40 it is 12inches).
I had learnt from a different seamstress that the way she measures hip depth is actually different from mine. I would love to learn how everyone does that. You can comment about it.

Step two
Cut out your cloth after adding allowance and begin to sew.

The thing about this pattern of sewing is that it does not require much to sew. It is very cheap and you don't need to break the bank. All you need is a good quality material that will make it look expensive.

The print on this particular fabric felt like it was telling an African tale.
