SPS Market Improve Ideas
As you may already know, there are no bids anymore on the SPS market, if you want to rent your SPS you will need lot of luck to find a bid to fill.
We can see this problem coming from several months ago not idea why the team does not address this months ago.
Anyway here are some ideas that can solve the problem, hope the one reviewing the post can give the ideas to the team or someone else can make a proposal with one or more of the ideas.
New ´´Stacking´´ for Points
´´Stacking´´ the SPS in a different place to earn points, while the SPS is in this place can not be used to fill bids on the rental market or give rewardson ranked gameplay.
The Points can be used for different types of rewards, it must be something attractive to everyone or can be target the whales so them use big parts of their sps in this new system and let the SPS rental market for others to fill.
Examples:
- New Promo cards
The favorite of all, the team can develop 4 or more of this promo cards with different rarities that can only be bough with this points, in this case points earned should work similar to sps rewards on ranked, something like 1000 sps give you 1 point daily 10000 sps give you 7 points, 100000 give 40 points and so on, in this way the whales with millions of sps will have a reduction on points allowing normal players to also get some points and claim cards with them.
Cards will be a lot more attractive if they have a limited print rate(a good one so it can have a decent price on the market) and when the print rate is about to finish new cards can come out.
- Delegate Cards
Players will be less interesting in this one, but the team could delegate some maxed out cards for certain amount of days or for a season for certain amount of points, it should have a small amount of each cards that are planning to be used so it does not ruin the rental market too much, interesting cards can be maxed out Legendary Summoners, points can be based on the cards rental price. Can also use this new promo cards and be only Delegate cards.
- Points Event
As others events, offer prices and tittles for the top 100 or top 500 that get more points, since is only stacking and need to make this event several times prices can not be too great, probably for this idea burning will fit better.
New Burning SPS options
Have new options for burn SPS there should be a different button than the current one, so this new burn options does not give DEC, the new options can be as the previous examples I mentioned: New Promo cards, Delegate Cards, Points for Event to win prices, also more than one can be implemented at the same time, in this case the points should be different for each scenario, otherwise the whales that aim for the first places of the event prices will also take most of the promo cards and will just dump them on the market, by making a separate options to burn the sps will get a lot more participation.
Give Extra rewards on Ranked for having more SPS
Always feel weird why the SPS boost stop on around x 14 times earning boost, it should be higher like up to 20 or 30 and require insane amounts of SPS to reach that amounts.
It can also offer others types of rewards for example if you have certain amount of boost for your rank and you are on Gold league or higher, like x10 boost for example, you will fill a bar per battle and after 10 or 20 battles you will get a minor chest, if you have a x13 boost SPS you will also get a Major chest and if you have a x18 boost you will also get a Ultimate Chest, filling the chest bar can be higher based on your ranting or just use a fix amount of sps instead of the boost to avoid incentivize stay in lower ranks so you need less sps for this prices.
Increases Ranked SPS Requierements
Now the ideas that most players will hate, this will be pretty annoyed for me as well as I only have 41200 SPS
But something have to be done, could be something like put the same requirements on modern than the ones in wild, or something more aggressive like increases both, anyway both should have the same requirements.
Several of the ideas previous mentioned can be implemented together, specially with this ones the Extra rewards on Ranked for having more SPS, should be implemented with this one if this one will be implemented and will be a lot less annoyed than implemented this alone.
Halving SPS
Last resort and the one that may be most difficult to past on a proposal but it have to be an option people should star to be more open mind about it, reducing the total supply of the upcoming SPS, this going against the White Paper but it should be considered at least, specially if others methods are not working. Last Resort but still should be an option.
Splinterlands
Is an Auto-battler game where all card are NFT, you can own them and sell them when ever you want or rent them, you will earn SPS each time you win a battle and you can change it for USD if you want, it is a fun game with a playtoearn aspect that greatly increases the fun.
