For this Social Media Challenge I decided to post an interesting battle:

Kelya maxed out vs another Kelya maxed out but we both choice almost a complete different line up, only one unit is the same in both sides Venari Wavesmith, it is a Fog of War plus Broken Arrow ruleset, for this ruleset you normally use mostly magic there can be a maximum of 2 melee attackers with a Reach unit and all the other attackers must to be magic ones, so I pick Djinn Oshannus that is pretty good against magic attacks with Void, Phase and high speed plus Meerdali Guardian to keep him alive healing him and repairing his armor, also pick Spirit Hoarder with Blind to give Djinn Oshannus extra evasion, my opponent pick 2 strong melee in his 2 first position, Bad news for my Oshannus but DiemondShark with his Enrage give him more than 5 attack that reduce his damage to one against Oshannus because of his Forcefield ability, his DiemondShark may not be the best option for this match because it is not a good unit against magic damage and on this combination of rulesets we are expecting mostly magic damage , my opponent also use the all mighty Doctor Blight level 3 that can eliminate my heal but since it is very slow my Djinn may evade his attacks.

Rulesets and Battle Conditions:

Fog of War: All units lose , snipe , sneak and opportunity ability.

Broken Arrow: Ranged attack monsters may not be used in battle.

Heavy Hitters: all monsters have knock out ability .

Mana Cap: 29.

Splinters Allowed: Fire, Water, Earth, Life.

General Strategy for Fog of War Ruleset:

Put a very strong tank in front and put your Magic or Ranger highest damage dealer with lowest defense in last places, this main sound like a normal battle strategy but no, on the last place you should be putting something with some defense in case of sneak attacks, on Fog of war you can be as greedy as you want and get away with it. Shield and Void are excellent abilities for the tank, resurrection is very strong on this ruleset since it going to resurrect your tank most likely, you can use a good target for resurrection like something with lots of Void Armor or Divine Shield and order well your team, mostly put , Scattershot could be a good idea to ruin the opponent formation.

General Strategy for Heavy Hitters Ruleset:

A very simple one, just put one or more units with the stun ability, make sure to others of your units are aiming for the same spot, as there is a big chance that the opponent will use stun as well, use a tank with Immunity to avoid the Stun and the double damage from the Knock Out ability, don´t use units with Knock Out ability since the ruleset is already giving you this ability unless you do not have anything better for their place, sometimes a card is so good that even without one of his main skills is still your best option.

General Strategy for Broken Arrows ruleset.

For this Battle there will only be melee and magic units because of the Broken Arrow ruleset, meaning using abilities anti-melee or magic will have a better effect than normal, better chances to work against more units, abilities like Silence, Demoralize, Void, Magic Reflect, Thorns, etc. As range is out of the picture, you can have a higher chance to predict correctly where the enemy is going to hit according to the others rulesets and the opponent battle history, if is going to attack from the back with Sneak melee units, attacking the weakest with opportunity units or from the front with magic units, put a great defense or decoy there or cover 2 or more sides with a moderate defense.
