Camouflage plus Martyr Synergy

The Art of Synergy

With each sets we are getting more synergies, before there wasn´t too much but new sets are new ones are coming like Weapons Training ones and there will be more with the upcoming set with the monsters types/races but on this post I want to talk about one of my favorites Synergies, combining the Camouflage ability with the Martyr ability, putting Camouflage on last place together with a unit with Martyr and on the other site one unit that are good against sneak attacks and/or get a high advantage for the stats increases from the Martyr ability like Regal Peryton for example, By doing this you get double boost from your Martyr having the unit with Camouflage and another one in case of Sneak attacks, it is quite easy to predict when the opponent will use sneak but it can be almost guaranteed on the Super Sneak ruleset, but it is not only having just 2 units boosted it is also that the unit with Camouflage will more likely will last to the end of the battle using this boost for several turns.

Djinn Biljka Plus Fungus Flinger is a good example for low mana battles where sneaks attacks are pretty common.

On the Super Sneak case the third unit should be something very good against melee attacks like Dumacke Orc:

There is a sneak unit with magic attack from rebellion, this card is pretty weak but currently is quite rare to find out against it unless your are in champion leagues, but you can always pick another unit with shield and/or Retaliate and/or Thorns to not have this risk.

For high mana battles one of the strongest versions of Camouflage plus Martyr Synergy is with Countess Sinash:

with the extra attack she will reach to 5 damage and will cause serious damage to the opponent team because of the Blast ability, so this extra damage it really give 3 more damage to the opponent team per turn, plus the other units boost, this unit could be Tenyii Striker that get big benefits from the extra stats with his high speed, Dodge and Backfire.

This Synergy can be used with any splinter and most of them has several options to pick up, beside there is a Martyr neutral unit and 2 neutral units with Camouflage , here is a list of most Camouflage units:

Weakness

The weakness of this strategy is just that the opponent does not goes for sneak attack, you will have a disadvantage after investing big part of the mana on this 3 units but the battle is not lost , all this units if you have them in high level are pretty strong by themself, also your martyr ability will boost your Camouflage unit eventually the problem is if the camouflage unit is an archer and is your last unit it will be irrelevant as it can not attack on close range, other ability some may think of this synergy is Dispel but is not really that big of a weakness because if your camouflage unit is targeted it will only happen at the end of the battle.
